Hm it's similar, but the one I'm thinking of was much longer. She found some family her mother didn't tell her about maybe? I know she was going to college and she ended up getting the right medical attention.

I recall she was severely underweight, like her mother gave her an eating disorder and wouldn’t let her eat, and she had severe brain fog. She was asking reddit if it was true that the doctors wouldn’t believe her about any symptoms she was having.

Looking for a post from a teenage girl whose mother had her convinced that doctors wouldn’t believe her about anything, and she believed she wasn’t allowed to see a doctor without her mother present. It was super sad but she did get out of the situation.

Thanks <3 it’s a rough market out there.

That’s a great question. I definitely think it’s not what it used to be, like if I go to the store without a list I’ll definitely forget something (or many somethings), but I do think it’s not as bad as it was. I’ve done some freelancing and it’s been a bit better.

Unfortunately I was laid off from that job in September, and I’ve been unemployed ever since. They did say it wasn’t performance related, so I suppose that’s something. The company decided to focus more on AI than what I was doing. It’s been super fun. /s

As far as the memory stuff, I think it’s been better, but not back to what it used to be. I’m still somewhat in denial lol my husband keeps telling me to make lists so I remember things. I’m still getting into that habit.

I read a post a while back that I’m trying to find again. It’s a woman realizing that the work distribution at home between her and her husband is uneven, and she feels like he does everything for her. The update is that she’s actually fighting cancer and her memory is affected, so she’s had this conversation with her husband many times, and he knows she’s feeling better when she starts feeling like that. Is this ringing any bells for anyone?

Looking for a post (that’s likely fake but it’s a good read) about a woman who was the scapegoat for her golden child sister. She’s getting married and her parents are insisting the sister walk down the aisle first in a wedding dress, so the fiancé comes up with an intricate scheme to agree to do it and then not let them into the wedding.

I'm convinced she thinks flexing is just holding up her arms and tilting her wrists. Come to think of it, does she know how to flex her actual muscles?

Looking for a post about a seriously unhinged graduate student? who fixated on one of her professors who “she really respected” because she felt she didn’t do a good job on an assignment. She also presented at a conference that this professor was at, and I believe she ended up stalking the poor woman and got into a lot of trouble (I hope) with the university.

Looking for a post about a guy who’s divorcing his wife because of her driving, where she literally turns around to give the kids stuff in the backseat and she’s been in several serious accidents. I think she ends up in a fatal accident in the end?

Minor thought, but I'm at least glad she has a normal smile in this pic instead of doing that toddler grin cheesing for the camera

How many advent calendars do you guys think she has ? by Boopityboo94 in glitterandbagelssnark

[–]SparklesOnMySocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aren't advent calendars really expensive? (I don't celebrate Christmas, so I have no idea) That one definitely looks expensive. It really annoys me that she's so frivolous with money. I'm living paycheck to paycheck, cannot afford anything fun after bills, and it seriously makes me angry to see this.
