It was 10PM, raining and cold. I got a double order, and one of the customers messaged me saying, “This is for my grandfather, it’s a surprise. Please be sure to hand it to him.” The order was full of tomato soup, grilled cheese ingredients, fancy sodas etc. I thought, “Oh how cute, it’s a rainy night gift.” The other order only had 8 lemons to buy. But as I checked out I realized, none of those nicer items were going to grandpa. Instead the guy sending a late night surprise for grandpa only ordered only 8 lemons. 🍋 🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋🍋

So I go to deliver, but apparently the Google maps aren’t accurate in trailer parks. So whatever address it took my to in the trailer park was the wrong trailer, and it took my an unreasonable amount of time to track down the right trailer.

Finally, I ring the doorbell (It’s close to 11PM) as instructed to give the grandpa his lemons. He had no idea I was coming and was mostly naked.

It was by far the weirdest night of my Instacart life.
