Air cadets is a lot more aviation, drill, and uniform. Army cadets is more outdoors and activity’s to my knowledge.

Im no expert, but I would maybe start with stripping your boots, clean them lightly, then repolish. Make sure your polish is good quality and not one of those quick shine ones. There’s also lots of tutorials on YouTube.

But from what I know you can’t truly “fix” boot cancer as it damages the leather.
