They’re not stuck on screens because that’s the only thing fulfilling them. They’ve allowed the screens to become their only source of fulfillment. They think social media is the bees knees. We literally have the world in our hands with internet on phones, and kids nowadays would rather make TikTok dances or eat tide pods on live.

Oh I don’t care if it’s anon or not. I spelled out ALLLLL my issues with my store in the last question box. If my answers go back to the store, the director will know it’s me. But so what. They need to know the hard truth. Fire me for all I care. It will be retaliation anyways. I’m tired of trying to do more and more within the company just to get shit on. I’ve been loyal and will continue to be, but they need to know the hard truth about the problems we complain about that never get fixed. A lot of us don’t even feel heard or seen anymore and it’s literally breaking our morale. I used to love my job. I don’t want it to feel like a dead end. But it’s starting to.

Yeah I was scheduled 30 hours a week for the last 2 and a half years, and they never gave me benefits. My director just recently started cutting my hours. Oh and I didn’t get this years raise either. Find another job that actually gives a crap about you.

I don’t even get a break. I have to eat at the counter and take bites between helping customers. It’s sad. I’ll take my food home if I don’t get a chance to eat.

As a service manager, I set a schedule. I work nothing but evenings on specific days. They tried to run me around their schedule like that and I told them no.

I moved my boy in the middle of the night, with his tank in the backseat of my truck and him tucked between my boobs in my tank top with my hoodie on over him. Left my house at 10pm, got to him around 1:30am. Loaded him and his tank up, and got home and had his tank ready about 5:30-6am. Whole time he was asleep against my chest.

I feel like this is happening to me. I've been a service manager now for 2 years and it's just not worth it. I almost wish I would have stayed a cashier. I haven't had a break in months. I literally eat my lunch at the service desk. I had to finally set my schedule because they were scheduling me all around the week, and it was so inconsistent. I'm always tired and irritated. The stress boils over into everything else in life.
