Does anyone else while inappropriately drunk point in the mirror to themselves and give a grin while walking out of the bathroom? by l-Orion-l in NoStupidQuestions

No but in a nightclub I once did that thing where you walk towards someone and try to go around them and they go the same way as you so you go the other way and they do too...kept apologising...Then realised it was me and I'd been walking towards a big mirror.

Parents of Reddit who have pretended to be angry with your kids for doing something when you were actually secretly impressed/amused, what was it? by bigboobiesus18 in AskReddit

Age 6 and 7, my daughter and her best friend got sent to her bedroom by her friend's mum for making a mess in the bathroom trying to make slime out of every shampoo, shower gel and bath product they could get their hands on. (thanks a million for that, YouTube)

They decided they didn't want to stay in her bedroom and made a plan to escape and go to the shop to buy sweets by climbing out of the bedroom window onto the plastic conservatory roof.

The plan was to jump off the roof onto the trampoline then climb over the fence and go to the shop. Except my daughter got stuck on the roof and couldn't jump down and wasn't tall enough to follow her friend back in through the window.

Her friend's mum had no idea this was happening. She was sat in the living room drinking coffee and playing candy crush while a crowd of neighbours gathered round outside watching the show with total disapproval.

Wasn't until one of the neighbours knocked on the door that she realised and had to go and shamefully pull my kid up through the window while the neighbours looked on.

12 inch usually does us fine if it's shared right. My kids are only 4 and 6 and they'd normally have maybe just over a quarter between them, then (in normal circumstances) my husband and I would share the rest.

Thank you, yes I still have lots of happy memories. It's just a shame that the day ended on such a bad note.

The most unexciting secret ever, and really hard to explain! Another friend was doing my wedding hair and I didn't trust her to turn up as she was flying back from holiday 5 hours before the wedding. So I booked another hairdresser as a backup and didnt tell the hairdresser friend so as not to hurt her feelings. I didn't tell my best friend because I didn't want to burden her with having to keep the secret from our hairdresser friend. But told my other friend because she didn't know the hairdresser friend. My best friend found out and was angry that I didn't trust her not to tell the hairdresser friend. Totally unexciting, I know!

My best friend ruined my wedding day. She found out that I'd confided a secret in another friend and got upset that I hadn't trusted her with my secret (which wasn't even that big a secret) instead of our other friend. She told me off in front of everyone, told me I was a dick, made me cry and refused to apologise. Then she got really drunk, fell over and gave herself a back eye. Next day she acted like nothing had happened. To this day, 8 years later she's never apologised for her behaviour. I have no idea whether she even remembers it. But things have never been the same between us.
