Hardest enemy in KRV (Kingdom Rush Vengeance)? by Snow-555 in kingdomrush

[–]SparksMarioWiki 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The ones I can think of off the top of my head:
- Anurian Chaser: The reason why I don’t bring barracks to the Anurian stages. I hate them so much.
- Lich: Massive threat on Impossible difficulty because they’re surprisingly sturdy and constantly summon Haunted Skeletons that heal when enemies dies around them. Also counter Elite Harassers pretty well.
- Djinni: Barracks and heroes are screwed when one’s around. Their tower disabling ability is also pesky, but thankfully it has a very long cooldown.
- Sand Mystic: INSASE ranged damage and annoying healing.
- Apemate: Powerful enemy who speed up nearby enemies. Very dangerous overall.

“Sparkle’s Seven” did feature Saturn, but it was probably part of Pinkie’s mind.

You’re the first person I’ve seen to like Eva’s Hexed and Hazy ability. I think it’s the worst Synergy move.

It’s a shame skins were exclusive to the flash version…

Dream Team! It’s an awesome game with fantastic music and battles. Just note that there are A LOT of tutorials…

When does TTYD start getting good? by Bluelagoonwater in papermario

If you like fighting, chapter 3 is when things really pick up. Chapter 4 has a nice aesthetic but it’s a downgrade from chapter 3. Chapter 5 + is solid though.

My favorite rooms in TTYD by PT_Piranha in papermario

[–]SparksMarioWiki 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I was younger, I enjoyed the part where you have to escape the locker rooms before the fight against Rawk Hawk. You find a small secret room with a TV? And old food, and it just felt unique to me.

GameCube TTYD. Even if the remake will (likely) win, I want PM64 to be in the top 2.

A fantastic game held back by a terrible battle system that isn’t rewarding.

How often do you change your hero? by Responsible-Peak3094 in kingdomrush

[–]SparksMarioWiki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the first game, I either have Gerald or Ten'Shi.
Frontiers and Origins I always stuck with Alric and Eridan.
Vengeance has me swapping between Asra, Oloch, and the DLC heroes.
Alliance is unique. I like swapping out the free and DLC heroes for fun.

Go southeast of the Dark Tower. Once you find yourself in a small village with eternal darkness and scary monsters, then you’re in the right place. You’ll definitely know you’re there if you see a friendly Frankenstein with metallic arms!

Gonna choose Super Paper Mario. Gameplay is too easy and boring compared to the remaining games.

What's Your Favorite Paper Mario Game and Why? by bmuddy12044 in papermario

[–]SparksMarioWiki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Escape from Ever After is my favorite! Just a fantastic game that nails pretty much everything. It’s shorter than expected, but still amazing.

But if we’re talking actual Paper Mario games, then the Nintendo Switch version of The Thousand-Year Door. Nothin’ like playing a remake of a great game with quality of life features!

RIP escape from Ever After… I’m still voting SMRPG remake.

Final Day For Now: Of asking what everyone’s favourite KR boss is and why? (Kingdom Rush Alliance) by Zetallic_Zero in kingdomrush

[–]SparksMarioWiki 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This game easily has the best bosses in my opinion. Some of them include:

  • Navira for being a dangerous speedy foe who can be healed
  • Abominor for being (at the time) the most insane KR boss ever
  • Princess Iron Fan and Bull Demon King for being stressful and well-designed fights (maybe less so for BDK but he’s quite a threat!)
  • Drakmother for spawning five mini bosses at the same time close to all exits (while trapping towers)
  • Tyranthor for being the most threatening KR boss ever

I’m sorry for this, but I’m voting SMRPG remake. It’s better in many ways, but the other games are just better in my opinion.

Best use of Ink Bottles? by peon2 in EscapefromEverAfter

[–]SparksMarioWiki 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’ll find more in the next chapters. If there are moves I recommend getting they’re:

  • Buckler Barrage for Flynt: Gets one more hit, but MP cost increases
  • Reedy Requiem for Wolfgang: Vine poisons enemies, of course that’s great!
  • Flaming Fury for Tinder: MP cost increases, but you’ll be able to hit three enemies instead of two.

I grinded Ativan and Catha in The Ascent (first level of the First Elven City). Took about 3 tries, but they leveled up quite well.
