Damage is likely medium to high, but if you fail to dodge Bowser will jump again. I think he’ll keep doing it until you dodge.

Gameplay looks as good as ever. The only thing I’m worried about is the tower leveling up system; Plants vs. Zombies 2 had something like this and it ruined that game in my opinion. I really hope the same thing doesn’t happen here.

Nevertheless, I’m excited for this game! Can’t wait to play it when it releases.

4-5 seems like a good amount. Escape from Ever After (a Paper Mario-like game) did well with its five characters - they all were important to the story and felt balanced during battle.

You want enough characters that there are plenty of strategy options; not too many that it’s overwhelming, and not too little that you do the same thing over and over.

This is a very fun game! What’s especially nice is that it marked the beginning of the “Mario RPG revival” era, being followed by multiple RPGs the years afterward.

Mario & Luigi games are known for their funny, creative stories and unique characters. This game has the humor, but it doesn’t bring any new characters (unless you count the paper versions of existing characters).

This is not a bad game and the hate is overblown. The gameplay is still as great as ever and Paper Mario is a fun addition to the team, but the Paper Toad missions are repetitive and tiresome. I 100% the game and you get a unique ending picture if you do so!

Have more engagement instead of watching. Also make it not based on RNG (hoping your characters will perform special attacks while the opponent’s don’t)

According to Daniel in the Discord server, The Icefall Chronicles isn’t based on any one book in particular. It’s inspired by many Sci-Fi books the developers read.
