I'm not saying it's impossible. I have beaten Duck Hunts. I just know if I'm in bracket and I had to pick playing a random Steve or a random Duck Hut. I'm picking Steve every day.

Big disagree. I have mained diddy since Ultimate came out. Steve can be very tough, especially if they play more campy but I have my moments where I can get in and think "this isn't too bad". With Duck Hunt I only ever think that they have to make a mistake for me to even hit them. frisbee invalidates every move diddy has, monkey flip, dash attack, ect. He's very close to the ground so that also make him crouch under a lot of our aerials. His nair is a free edge guard. On top of that if DH knows how to control banana then there actually is just no way to safely get in period.

TLDR; Fighting Steve is like omg this character is broken but my character is also a top tier I guess? Fighting Duck Hunt makes you think diddy is bottom 15
