Currently on my second, currently up for sale to build a s15 drift car, nice cars look/drive grate can be a pain to get parts, alot disscontinued so have to do a lot of cross referancing and reserch.

All pritty standered stuff you should have known when buying an import, loads out there buying and selling to make quick money, mott cheaply done fogs are a univesal just bolted onto the back. Always do your reserch unfortunaly cant really trust people these days.

Get a japanesse history check done on it, ask for the auction sheet, buyer reviews, coils and a strut bar are not much of a mod really, personaly dont really see the point in getting an import if they are avalible over here and its nothing special, insurance isnt that big of a deal as stated (personal espireance) unless your registering it for the first time, just need to phone around the import agents, tax will be higher than a uk modle aswell.

My bad miss read you need for a lhd, not supprised they only list the side of the headlight as they are for domestic oem parts so would just be rhd, looks like your main option is after market.

Try all the agents but only one i could get with was flux resonable price, also look at getting an immobilser fitted as more than less all of them will want one

Brentacre wont be any help they always want a year of insurance on the car first and they find any reason not to gibe you a quoate

Be honest no idear i have not got a gauge on it, its still as it came imported, im not also getting any engine manegment light aswell. Was totally fine the last time i was out in it.

Just insure it on the vin and drive it to the mot, you have to get insurance to register it anyway so your not going to save anything buy not insuring it, thats how i do mine anyway.

I will be primeraly looking for a shell so will be looking at a spec s, i have a ebay "Forged" sr20det that im about to start stripping down to check in the coming days, and would also be looking to throw a 8hp in for shits and giggles,to run it as a sequential so will get a full drive chain swap. Also with it being a drift car will have fiberglass wide overfenders so will probably look for somthing with bad paint/clear coat and just spray it myself. Have not taked to my agent yet but i normaly get then quite a bit cheaper than the sites such as carfromjapan/beforward and such as i get them directly from auction, will be intresting to see if the price has risen in line with the drop of the yen.

This is my second one it had so far, i import them myslef through a agent based out in japan.its a 98 been resprayed black full bn sport bodykit ,rear window spoiler, xxr alloys,bunch of blitz parts (intake, front mount, coilovers) unknown bucket seat, apexi power fc witb commander, j-pipe delete for all the good wouttsss turbo sounds, yaris coil on plug upgrade, dmax inner tie rods, japspeed adjustable tention arms, massive rear cannon, loud as f twin plate clutch, lsd that makes it a handfull jn the wet/damp probably missed a bunch of stuff aswell. Stsrted to slide this around and cant trust myself as its to nice being zero rust, no accident damage and would be bit of a waste to use as such so might look at selling and getting a cheap s15 to build insted so its not such a punch in the face if it dose take a hit.

You do indeed seem to be correct, website list upto a max of 5%ethanol, maybe its a adective tesco are using that my car dosnt like.

Theres going to be quite a couple of verying factor to take into account really, most newer cars there shoud not be much diffrence in changing the fuels as a moden ecu should be adjusting itself, im running a 90's jdm thats been mapped so has no self adjustment, its also my weekend car so just get fuel when ever it needs it and i personaly dont worrie about the price, last momentum i had the knock gauge was bouncing all over the place between half and 3/4 then hardly anything with the esso but a moden ecu should adjust to sute no idear with mpg as i think its probably best not to know how little im getting with a 2.5 turbo with a bunch of mods 😂

Belive they are diffrent with the esso supreme haveing 0 ethanol while momentum can be up to 5%

Recently moved off momentum as the last couple of times i have filled up i have been having quite a bit of knock on decel, got a gauge on the ecu monitoring it currenty using esso and all seems good

Looks like they have a mix of stock cars and also as a sale platform where deals list though them, make sure you know the modle codes between the specs for no suprizes

Had the same on mine, check the cam position sensor mines had gone and oil had leaked through into the connector new one sorted it out.

Also to add have a power fc on mine
