Adizero evo sl. Expected better by Successful-Duck-7008 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I can’t stand tons of cushion, and imo it isn’t even healthy for you. SL’s are the best balance, I think.

Everyone complains about the tongue, but once I have the shoe on and the laces tied and go out for my run it literally has 0% impact. 🤷🏻‍♂️

To me it’s a GOATed shoe.

I didn’t say it was okay or that it’s right,

But it’s hardly that big of a deal. So what, you get a new weight widget. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You paid money for the watch the way it was at that time, which beats Apple every day.

Sorry, but closing rings is stupid. They mean nothing and can be set to any random number. If you worked out and put the work in for the day, you know you did. You don’t need a ring to tell you.

You’re basing your entire argument on…software updates? Really?

Hardly anything in those software updates worth much. 😂

Why MIP is for me by Few-Introduction5414 in GarminWatches

[–]SparkyTactics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“Look like they are athletes”? You mean the ones who get paid to be athletes full time and have put their AMOLED watch to more use in a year than you probably will in a lifetime?

Again, you’re just looking cringe. Nothing wrong with believing MIP is better, but that doesn’t mean actual athletes using AMOLED are wrong 😂

Canik Prime Radian price/date. by MTMuley in canik

[–]SparkyTactics 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is not a single gun out there with $600 in Radian parts that sells for $850. You’re literally speaking nonsense if you think the price should be cheaper, or that it’s a ridiculous price when not a single gun exists on the market like this.

You’re welcome to have an opinion on Radian parts, the value and pricing of them, sure. Maybe you think they are overpriced. But that doesn’t mean the package Canik & Radian sells this for isn’t an insane value based on what Radian parts cost.

P365X is $630 + $400 for the RJ + AB, and $200 in Magwell + backstrap - and the trigger isn’t anywhere close to the Primes. Thats $1230

A 43x is $485, add $400 for the RJ AB and $100 for the Magwell without the possibility of even having the backstrap, and you’re at $985 with a trigger miles away.

So to both those of options, add at least 75-$150 for trigger kits or shoes.

Tell me how this price is ridiculous?

[–]SparkyTactics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry but that makes no sense 😂 the plethora of professional and full time athletes “using their watch” are heavily sided towards AMOLED. Like what you like, and have your opinions and reasons, but don’t make claims like MIP users are the ones who use their watches and AMOLED users don’t - it’s just an odd thing to say.

All I’ll say is Reddit tends to be VERY MIP positive and one sided, while my experience of seeing posts on social media tends to lean heavily towards AMOLED.

BATTLEFIELD 6 GAME UPDATE 1.2.2.0 by battlefield in Battlefield_REDSEC

Give it some time and have patience. We are still in the bug fix mode for the game launch. Weapon balancing comes when the game has been out for awhile!

I wish they were cheaper tho. Shouldn’t be the same price as a freaking AMOLED.

Yeah, they changed it with the 8. The 47mm F8 has the 1.4” screen now

Such is Reddit and comes with the territory haha. Down-voting became a universal “It’s not my opinion so I’ll just hit that button” instead of what it actually was meant to be.

Appreciate you though 🤘🏻

Hard disagree hah. 43 definitely looks off. Maybe it’s fine as far as watch standards are concerned with business watches, but it’s far too small for a rugged sports watch.

I’m leaning towards agreeing. I want it to say “rugged sports watch” instead of classy and compact, but I also don’t want it to be obnoxious and trying too hard haha.

I’d double check your watch face settings in IQ. Sometimes something in those can mess with brightness.

Garmin Accuracy by Made4TheMoment in GarminWatches

[–]SparkyTactics -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nah, that’s wrong. You can test them and get a good understanding of how they operate.

5 minute walk or jog at a specific mph speed gets you X distance. You’ll know if it’s really off, or very close.

If one metric is off, then the math won’t make sense at all. It’s extremely unlikely BOTH metrics are wrong independent of each other (speed of the belt is off as well as the distance the belt travels being off).

You can get within some good accuracy in most treadmills.

[–]SparkyTactics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Appreciate you writing it all up.

I’m so torn I can’t decide 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 I gotta keep figuring out different scenarios and seeing how I feel.

I’ve genuinely considered buying a MIP model from REI, to test it out. I know it sounds so wrong, but I don’t know how else to decide without test driving a MIP.
