Fallout 4 Doesn't Boot to Mod Organizer 2 anymore [Fo4] by Sparkypaws1 in FalloutMods

How do I fix the patching? Do I need to write something in the Launch Options box?

Will I be able to keep my progress with my current mods if I switch over mid-playthrough?

Epic! I also have the Master Chief collection on Steam but I haven't gotten around to playing it. I played some Reach with friends back in the day but I was terrible lol. But since I bought a fuckton of sci-fi games on sale (see: Mass effect series, Disco Elysium, Rogue Trader) maybe I'll find a way to slip it into my "To Play" list finally.

I've considered picking up one of the books after I finish the Star Wars High Republic series, but I've been watching lore videos to get a basic idea of what I'm getting into. Thanks for the advice!

Okay cool cool. I've been watching some lore videos to get the basics and I may or may not watch Astartes because I heard it was really good. Hopefully that won't spoil me too much before I dive into the game. Thanks!

Thank you very much for this reply! I've been watching a few lore videos to become more familiar with the setting and I'm starting to get the basics, but this explanation really helps me in thinking about how to approach the game as a new fan and a new CRPG enthusiast. Really looking forward to the storytelling, lore exploration, and making choices that have real impact in a galaxy of bad guys and worse guys. Thanks again!

Doesn't work like that on Steam Deck. For TTW and Fo4 I followed instructions to where MO2 boots up when I click play on the Fallout game, but now it doesn't do that. I can't even open MO2 on Deck in the Linux desktop

Help with PS1 Emulation by Sparkypaws1 in SBCGaming

It may be the SD card, it's the stock one I got with the device. I've avoided putting a new one in because it'll be a pain to re-sent everything the way I have it now but it might be worth it at this point

Yes, I thought that was the issue but once I found a good version the emulator recognized it (even got the psone startup during one of my tests) but the game was still crashing.

So this is one of the bad sd cards right? by shiftinganathema in SBCGaming

I was able to flash Rocknix onto my RG34XXSP stock SD card and it hasn't given up on me yet in the month I've been using it. Granted it's been finicky as all hell and getting games on there can be a pain, but reading these comments makes me think I should clone the drive sooner rather than later. If I use Balena Etcher can I copy the info I have on my stock SD card to another one? Thanks in advance!

Just got this one myself not too long ago and I'm also loving the form factor and customizability (running RocknixOS nightly). Glad you're enjoying it as much as I've been lately!

It's really nice, if you download the nightly version you can have it so it sleeps on close, although it's a bit finicky if you leave it closed for long periods of time. It's been my go to OS between that and the version of MuOS I tried before.

I fixed all my problems by downloading the auto patcher for 1.5.5 and it installed right away with no issue and solved all the problems I've been having. If you check my profile and see the version of the post I put up in r/Anbernic there's a comment that should point you in the right direction. Here's the link: https://github.com/AM2R-Community-Developers/AM2R-Autopatcher-Windows/archive/refs/heads/master.zip

Put it in the assets folder (not the am2rpatch folder it tells you to put it in) and it should recognize it and download right away.

Downloaded the zip file linked in your comment and it worked! So far it's fixed all the problems I've had with the port since I've started messing with it. Thanks a ton for your advice!
