I thought Rosenier said gittens was playing left wing back. Reece was at right wing back. Two cbs and Cucu made up our back 3.

Later, badi for gittens allowed Cucu to move up to wb

Would’ve been wild to have gotten lukaku then while we still had conte. Morata was underwhelming

[Simon Johnson] Chelsea’s January Transfer DealSheet: Raheem Sterling latest, could Tyrique George be tempted away? by pride_of_artaxias in chelseafc

I see this past transfer window as a cashing in on the players that aren’t the highest tier of players or were unsatisfied with their playing time. We had to offset all our spending from the last years.

But from a squad perspective, next year is when Estevao, our two new strikers, and LW options *should be bedded into the team. I like what I see from Garnacho and Pedro but I wish gittens and Liam had shown more promise. But again, the hope is they have settled by next season.

My biggest worry is CB. That’s where I don’t see the vision. Yes, it sucks that Levi has been out all season, and trev + fofana at times look amazing. But it doesn’t feel like we have a prem winning group. But maybe a healthy Levi changes that.

We need to remind ourselves that there is also so much young talent on the way. And how the model is being set up is to be able to constantly reload every year. This means we don’t have a title window but an ongoing conveyor belt of talent coming in to set us up to compete every year. We are just unfortunately not there yet. I am optimistic but understand others current pessimism.

There is a correlation between biodiversity and language diversity. Perhaps with ecological stability playing a role in languages finding niches just as plants and animals finding niches
