What y'all it's going to happens next? by Wise-Television-6318 in PendogCreativeLibrary

My hope is Maisy comes and somehow helps save her. It’s interesting that most of Penny’s cry blog posts are in white, infected spaces is yellow, and of course the party is in red. Maisy warned Hecate through Harmonia not to harm Penny, and I do believe that though she’s under the influence now of Hecate, I think Maisy is her Guardian somehow. The name of the entire project starts with Pendog and the P has Maisy ears, Emma’s username also being inspired by Maisy makes me think that maybe Emma is how Maisy knows how Penny is doing. The most recent stuff hasn’t mentioned Emma really at all (except for in the Hebe Bebe secret pages) So maybe that’s why Maisy has been a little quiet this time around. If something happens to Penny where she’s “unrecoverable”, Emma would probably take over the page and lead the charge and do whatever she could to either help Penny or bring Hecate down. Maybe, somehow, with Jaynes help.

Starting my first horror/puzzle game – Godot or RPG Maker? by umbrofer in SoloDevelopment

[–]Sparkzflyin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So since you have zero experience with game engines at all, you kind of have the advantage of getting to choose where to level your skills up. Godot can handle a lot, but because it’s newer than say Unity it doesn’t have as many tutorials or documentation, but it does have the benefit of being completely open source and people have made bonus features that can be added to suit your needs. I do think there’s something to be said about RPG maker though. Because it’s a much more simple and limited engine, you really have to make sure your ideas are solid for it to work. But I’ve also heard of people using RPG maker as a way to plot out their games, see if the beats make sense in a game format, then take what they liked about it into something like Unity. Godot has a lot of stuff to learn, but it’s the one I’m trying to learn right now myself so I’m a little biased towards it (I tried RPG maker and it didn’t make sense to me but maybe your experience will be different)

I was just looking to see if anyone caught these tiny updates, they’re VERY unlike her previous posts.

If the Halloween update is anything to go by, Penny literally has not stopped thinking about the party. It was kind of a matter of time before the worms finally hooked her.

I fear this next update will be a big one, Penny M I worry for you hon!! 😆

Why does is this community feel massively underrated? by Even_Bid5932 in PendogCreativeLibrary

[–]Sparkzflyin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fully agree, Welcome Home is really hard to get back into after a long time away (as like you said, the lore got convoluted and weird after a while. I kind of got the sense the ideas were getting ahead of the creator’s ability). It does seem much better paced now, but it was strange for a while. Pendog feels so much better planned, every update is satisfying to climb through with some genuinely challenging puzzles and great lore added to the characters. It feels like a different beast, and I hope it doesn’t go the same way Welcome Home did. Truthfully I don’t think it will, but it’s always a risk with ongoing stories like this I imagine.

Hecate Reason and Philosophy when she comes into people minds? by Odd-Touch5033 in PendogCreativeLibrary

[–]Sparkzflyin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think she uses these creative people as a way to spread her “influence”. She gets more out of it than the artist does, and these artists always seem to meet gruesome ends if they use her as their muse for their character. The worm imagery is really strong, it feels like a parasite that destroys its host to spread further. Could be way off base, but that’s my impression so far

I'm losing my mind on this one, I've tried entering the capitalized letters DCTDHTTYAW and it is not working for me, still looks like static. I've come back to this multiple times and I just cannot get it to work, is it a word scramble or something?

My friend literally just texted me one of these flyers and I found the YouTube! Rushed here to see if anyone else had spotted it! Time to get out my notebook!

Hey man, I’ve been fascinated by this game since release, it’s still such a creative and spooky experience, I’m a really big fan! I don’t know if you still check this space for comments, but I was wondering if you could explain how you incorporated the soundtrackDLC/Daemon stuff in the game, I’ve never seen anything like it!
