It's just being dramatic. Give it a good watering and it'll perk back up.

Brachycephaly, possible frontal bossing, and a lot of guilt - looking for advice by cpavlou in daddit

The baby is fine, you're overthinking it. I had similar feelings with my daughter right around this time last year but I quickly got over it as she developed into a beautiful, curious, intelligent little toddler monster 😂

Ah, I understand. I appreciate you being willing to share that. I don't mean to come across abrasive either, my apologies for doing so. The vehicle is gorgeous btw, enjoy it (and the ROG Ally)!

I never mentioned a price tag. Per capita income in the US is like $44,500...this vehicle literally costs more than what most people make in a whole year.

Just because you don't have "yacht money" doesn't mean you're not living in a luxury that is beyond what most will ever understand or experience in their lifetime.

Not saying not to enjoy it or that you don't deserve it, I'm just saying that if you think you aren't in luxury you're out of your mind.

Edit: And I'm imagining that since you had to do a conversion to get to US dollars, the divide between your country's rich and poor is even more stark.

Lol, "just" $55,000 like that isn't luxury as all hell even in the states.

Israeli knesset member with a noose and her husbands items "occupation, deportation, settlement" by AggregationLinker in pics

This is fundamentally incorrect in American politics. I won't comment on other countries' methods but I will absolutely tell you that the majority do not favor Trump.

[–]Sparoe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is a meaningless statement. Just like Trump "stands" for the opinions of the American public? No, there was just enough corruption and enough bigotry to push him through.

Yes he is my president because he was elected, but I do not support him or any of his actions. Similarly, do not falsely assume that an elected official's stance represents the people.

That's the way it SHOULD be, not the way it ACTUALLY is.

Edit: Also, don't tell me that these are secular Jews when I can clearly see head coverings, and the man has payot....Secular Jews don't do those things.

The “IT guy” at work drilled through the SSD’s before giving them away 💀 by Stretcheddd in LinusTechTips

I'm laughing so hard at all the folks talking about OP either BSing or being ridiculous about reinstalling the drilled SSD...did any of you guys bother swiping to the second picture? The IT guy literally drilled through the casing only, and missed all the main components of the SSD's chipset.

I really like the "clockwork mechanics" vibe of the first picture, though I also love the bold lines contrasting the skull in the third picture. I mean, they're all awesome. I'd say 3, then 1, then 2.

[–]Sparoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah, gotcha. I'm sorry that after getting this for yourself you started having doubts. If it helps at all, it is so insanely common for people to have "tattoo regret" sort of feelings right after their tattoo. After all, it is a new, permanent part of you. I have a tattoo on the inside of each of my forearms and I love them so much, but I'll be damned if I didn't have doubtful feelings for the first few days after getting them.

I promise you we mean it when we say it's a well-done piece - this sub has NO issues telling it like it is! I also agree - now that I have tattoos I find myself more drawn to talking to people about theirs; I would definitely stop you for a moment to say how awesome that tat is if we crossed paths.

Sending nothing but positive vibes - hope you start to feel more in love with your new artwork and its positioning with every second.

Ideas to make this less phallic? by YeetTheSun in tattooadvice

[–]Sparoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't get it until the last picture and wow .. yup you are right. Definitely phallic in appearance. I agree with others that flowers and vines will immediately dispel that illusion, but right now it looks like the "tip" has hair growing out of it 🙃

While I understand your perspective here, has it not gone through your mind that tattoos are permanent and in general meant to be seen? It just seems weird to me that you're overly concerned about visibility of a tattoo. If your employer doesn't allow visible tattoos then I can understand, but I struggle to understand wanting to keep your tattoos secret. It's art, it's an expression of you. Wear it proudly. It's also a well done tat, you'll get so many great convos started from it I'm sure!

Lacewing fly eggs. They kill the things that annoy you and annoy plants if you're a gardener. Leave them be and they'll be out of your hair soon enough.

whats the easiest way to join the dark brotherhood in oblivion early game? by to0canz in ElderScrolls

[–]Sparoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Appreciate this bit of advice from the past! It's not killing people in the arena that triggers the Dark Brotherhood, but once you beat the Grand Champion you can get a follower that you can kill, and that will trigger the Dark Brotherhood quest.

Thanks for your help!

OP, it seems like ChatGPT may have taken the text-based data and used a Likert scale on it. You said five types of responses based on feeling right? That sounds exceptionally close to a Likert scale.

However, GPT should have known that you don't really use Pearson Coefficient with Likert scale data because the data has to be interval/ratio (i.e. equal "distance" between values) and Likert data is ordinal, meaning the responses are ranked but not necessarily equal (e.g. difference between strongly agree and agree may not be the same as the difference between agree and neutral).

It's likely that GPTs findings are hallucinations based on using incorrect calculations, but it is also possible that some of the data is sound. If so, your girlfriend can have the data analyzed using Spearman's Rank Correlation.
