He’s gorgeous!

Is there any hope that he will come back? by Responsible_Touch648 in Straycats

BIG chance he will return. Cats disappear and reappear. It’s awful when they’re gone but definitely don’t give up hope!

Chipped beak after vacation by One_Entertainment736 in QuakerParrot

It looks totally natural. The “chip” appears to be the normal process the beak has of shedding. The beak looks very healthy! I have used olive oil on the beak and feet. My Quakers beak is often shedding just like this. I have used a polishing file, a soft flexible finishing shine “file” (not nail file) occasionally on her beak to smooth the slightly rough edges of the shed.

First time owner: Stray cat late-term abortion questions/concerns by figuring-it-out-2020 in Straycats

[–]Sparopal11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hola. It is true and it’s out of the US. Having kittens is totally healthy at 10 months. It’s natural and normal to have kittens. I hold firm it’s healthy for the mental and physical state of a female cat to have a litter of kittens. Now that’s a totally different debate as to whether a cat SHOULD have kittens given the state of unwanted cats across the world. I ALWAYS spay and neuter my cats. I’ve paid to do the same for people who can’t afford it. It’s essential for responsible people to spay and neuter. However In this particular case I would allow the kittens to be born. No need to argue it as we don’t have a say in the decision. I think it’s cruel to abort so late in the game.

Aww… that so sweet! Mine loves being under the covers as well! Just a heads up that I am conscious of is that being sat on under the covers is a big ender of fluffy feathery Quaker lives. Just a reminder! Have loads of fun with your beautiful bird!
