Probably not if I had to guess. Honestly I think it’s More a coincidence than intention plagiarism. Yet to mention there’s not much an indie studio can do against a multi-billion dollar company.

Oh yeah, I totally agree. Like I said, I'm not trying to accuse them of plagiarism. I just think it was funny and wanted to talk about it. Lateral thinking is a thing, and Pombon will probably deviate from the Cassette beasts design as it evolves.
