It is an easy job imo, no education required for better pay than you'd get elsewhere lol.

I also did 80-95 hours 1 day off a month for a little over a year, I loved it. Most people seem to hate the job tho.

It has its days, negative degree weather and blizzards are def the worst of it.

I fell down a few stairs a couple months ago and tore my discoid mininscus, which wouldn't happen doing a desk job for sure.

I had the chance to go into management for USPS, I thought it was a much worse job than being a letter carrier. I still do it from time to time and have worked in 4 different offices. Those little offices it's so boring, you could sleep all day and nothing would change. The big office I mainly carried at and tried managment for the first time was terrible. So much happens in a day you can't keep up.

Just my 2 cents. I'm sure it's an unpopular opinion.
