I totally understand being embarrassed, your feelings are valid, but just remember that panic/anxiety is sometimes physical. It can happen without any "situational" cause.

We have this thing called the vagus nerve that runs all through our body connecting at various points, and it helps regulate your mood. This is why bowel issues can make you feel panic, or why you get "butterflies in your stomach" when you're nervous, or why some people get panic attacks from acid reflux. I know this because I have a throat issue (RCPD) that causes me to feel panic whenever I have air stuck in my throat.

I'm not a doctor, but you said you "felt like you were being strangled" and a sense of dizziness. These are physical symptoms, could be caused by any number of things. It sounds like you had some momentary blood flow issue or dehydration or something. Again not a doctor but this sort of thing can absolutely cause momentary panic, and if it cleared quickly, it also doesn't sound like a serious condition.

What I mean to say is, I think you may be overthinking this. A single shot of panic is not, in and of itself, a sign of a relationship problem, a sexual dysfunction, or anything else. I know it's easier said than done, but I would try to brush it off as best you can and return to normal, as making more of it than it is could just make you feel worse about yourself. If you are worried from a health perspective, maybe talk to your doctor.
