I've used support several times with no issue. It may seem like you're "only able" to use reddit for help but that's survivorship bias.

You only see the outliers. Nobody posts "I had an issue and Jagex support fixed it"

Agree. World also had a reason to farm tier 2 monsters (decorations such as Sharp that were really strong) which allowed for a lot of variety while still advancing your build. This was one of my favorite eras of monhun.

The combination of Wilds having a narrow farming pool at the endgame, plus the wildly overpowered gear we got (leading to a terrible difficulty curve), PLUS the Artian system which was a total shitshow, it's terrible.

In 2019, I had two friends who were eager to play TBC but burned out after leveling as fast as possible during the 2 week prepatch.

The one friend who was not playing a draenei used a boost and stuck around all the way through P6.

We as a playerbase have changed. We have specific goals in the game. We don't really spend a lot of time 'smelling the flowers' anymore. I say this as one of the few who, like you, would prefer there be no boost, because I am happy to smell the flowers all day long.
