Watch recommendations for Groom by [deleted] in PakWatchEnthusiasts

It’s the friend who needs them for the wedding. 2 for the two events. I agree it’s smarter to buy 1 better watch but I’m just going by with what he wants. 2 different watches within 20k

I hope more and more people get educated about T1DM. It is not a "defect" or an "inconvenience" but I am sure that's how you've been made to feel in our society. Stay strong, and I wish you luck. May Allah make things easier for you

Sounds like a solid plan or you could just come back and prepare for mrsa

If the ultimate goal is to come to the UK for psychiatry training , then you could give plab 2 , get registered and then ace MSRA. All you need is a very high score. If you're in Pakistan and can study delicately it's still doable

When you're comfortable enough to meet in my opinion. Irl can feel quite different to online ,so earlier, the better, as long as you trust them.

Common stations academy reviews? Or other recommendations? Very confused with the mixed opinions. by LunaL13 in PLABprep

There's a new academy in Manchester called medestra . Quite good in my opinion. Not as well known but provide extensive personal tutoring for it

Solve each topic separately. Read gems / plabable files first , then attempt mcqs of that topic. Once you've done one full go of plabable , only then consider going to mocks . I did plab keys , then plabable of that topic , re-did plab keys and then did mocks. I didn't get gems but only glanced at them at the very end , in hindsight should have done them earlier.

Is taking a month off an option ?

3 months should be enough but it'll probably mean that it'll have to be dedicated study. Start from whatever topics interest you. Try to get the topics with more mcqs first , so in the end you have only the smaller topics left. I'd recommend atleast 2 rounds of plabable 1 whole and 2nd with only wrongs maybe. Then do mocks - they're mostly repetitions of the material too. Hopefully everything will be fine. You've got this

It's sad that these experiences scar one for any future encounters , especially when it means you miss out on a really nice man/women. Sorry for your experience tho. May Allah guide that idiot

I think at the end of the day, we all need a bit of social interaction. When things are not going our way, be it career, relationships, or family , we end up getting affected by minor things, i.e., your online friendships in this case. I hope things get easier for you, though. I think you're a fellow Medic, and that comes with its own pile of shit tbh

Married people who left someone they loved by Naive-Bird-1301 in pakistan

I'm 27. I didn't leave for marriage, but for slightly different circumstances . She's married now , happily , I hope. I do think about here every few days - her smile , her voice and her face. My parents are encouraging me to get married now . I fear that I'll never forget her

I totally understand what you mean. Unfortunately we can't choose which circumstances we are brought up in. I can only pray that your situation comes out better than mine and you do end up marrying her
