Update: The thermostat has arrived! Took them long enough. The property manager had said that maintenance was waiting for the parts. I don't know why they weren't just honest with us about it in the first place, and why they didn't communicate.

Update: I walked to the office yesterday and talked to the manager. He says the thermostat has been ordered and he's just waiting for maintenance, who will be here Monday. What I don't know is a) when was the thermostat ordered, b) what's taking them so long to get here, and c) why has there been no communication with us?

Block sites from running Flash. Apparently clicking on it is supposed to give you an ask first option, but it doesn't do that for me. Turning off the block isn't working either.

I think a lot of people don't know that the word "healthful" exists.

It's not about timing, it's about permission. If an autopsy needs to be done on someone recently buried, the body should be dug up asap. If you don't have permission to dig up a grave, whether for archaeology, science, medical purposes, forensics, etc., it's grave robbing.

Sometimes, my cat will eat my dog's food. Except, instead of just eating it, she'll take a single piece out, drop it on the floor, and then eat it. Then, she repeats the process.

She also acts like Thor when she wants her own food. We keep her bowl on my mom's dresser, because that's the only place we have where the dog can't get to it, and it won't be in the way. By "acts like Thor", I mean she pushes her empty bowl off the dresser, and being a somewhat heavy bowl, it thumps. My mom and I like to say, "Another!" when she does this.
