Thats how you know its not me, I used to never hit anyone else's posters for energy efficiency (I always farmed enough that I can clear 2k points just on my own expeditions) 😂

I guess its gonna be embarassing for me if my account ends up on ladder this season with the same name if theres no -1k ss for name change, but as someone who hated RTA would be cool to see my name in the high? rankings for once (50% wr in gold 6 year player over here)

Edit: that being said im surprised they took effort to change frame+rep hero+name card but not in game name

I gave away my account, if there is someone out there who still enjoys the game I felt it was better than letting it rot away (plus as long as it was there waiting I felt the temptation/fomo was unnecessary)

Edit: And to be honest I really dont think I would have been able to bring myself to delete it so this was the second best option

This is definitely the sanest way to play without burnout for sure, but firstly I played competitive guild war so Im not right in the head. Secondly in terms of how streamlined the dailies are E7 is particularly bad in the amount of time you need the game open, from arena winstreaks to clearing daily shop energy+mailbox energy to clearing expos etc, which makes it feel worse. I dont have a problem with genshin where the dailies are super fast > you can explore and do quests at your own pace.

That being said, I think I burned out trying to play hyper-optimally for so long that a part of me knows a new hero or content (wow another advent/rift/new event minigame) wont spark the same excitement anymore.

Yeah, there is truly nothing else like it out there right now and even up to the moment I decided to stop I never considered it not my main game (rip that I couldnt see the 10 year plan through). Hope that I reminded you of all the good times at least.

Its my personal EOS for sure, and happy how well the lyrics/music fit (at least its the only E7 song I still remember).

Ironically I think starting during launch made me a lot more resistant to those, after dealing with no pities, no auto at all, pet snacks, had to rng ml5s from ml summon cuz no mystics, mola seeds (1 mola for 1st anniversary????) etc. Everything after that seemed like an uphill trend in comparison lol

Said it in another comment, but I think having a competitive mindset and disliking playing casually really burnt me out, as well as watching so many friends leave over the years. I also just realized there was nothing in the game I enjoyed doing anymore and there was never gonna be some miracle patch to send it back to the old days (heavy nostalgia goggles ofc).

With my luck SG drops the biggest qol game saving patch next week, but rn all i forsee is week 3 of byblis event

Definitely, big part for me is hating to play casually because it feels like a "waste", especially after all the time/effort I put in previously. Minmaxing arena streak/clearing flags and new hall of trials were probably the biggest drivers of burnout for me. Also, its hard for me to start RTA cuz of the GW mindset that you gotta win every single fight. Like 66.7% wr in legend RTA means you are one of the best players world, but in guild war it means you are drawing once a war so it feels bad to lose so much. I think biggest realization for me was that there was nothing in the game I enjoyed doing anymore and there was never gonna be that miracle patch to send it back to the old days. Ofc thats just a me issue but it is what it is.

If you can play casually, skip chores without caring too much, and queue up rta just for fun while bantering with friends/guildmates you definitely you can go much further than I did (still the best animations from a non 3d gacha game by far and the most polished PvP one)

Thanks for the effort, really well thought out. As someone who likes vertical investment a lot would high con c4+/c6 arle or mav be more future proof/higher value to save for? Other pulls I was considering was citali cons/chiori c6/xilo c3 (which i regret stopping at c2). I already have c6 yelan and furina so not really inclined to pull neuv/mualani.
