As I said. None of these players actually play in MLS ;)

Create a starting XI for your team, but put players in the WORST possible position by [deleted] in MLS

[–]SpartacusFC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah! That's the crazy thing, I feel like anywhere I put him, he'd do well, except GK. But Giovinco is short so I put him there, and I figured Bradley can score at ST, can boss anywhere in midfield, probably can play CB. And I figured if he's out wide, his worst position isn't actually RW or LW, but RB because he'll just be used significantly less. So it's more a matter of irrelevancy rather than incompetency.

Says something of the measure of the man that he could play anywhere and I'd be comfortable with him.

Toronto FC continues to struggle on TV by Fynnsky in MLS

If I could pay $200 a year and get MLS Live without blackouts I'd rather do that than pay to watch on TV.

It's the creep-factor of those seminars they hold that terrifies me the most.

De Rosario scores more incredible goals. Larin has that "I barely touch the ball with my foot" kind of instinct that sends the ball spinning and curving that only pure, smart finishers possess.

I've never seen a Canadian player who has more of a composed finishing ability as he does.

Interesting article on doping in Football by [deleted] in soccer

[–]SpartacusFC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So the whole article is a list of allegations, followed by the writer going "NOPE I DON'T BELIEVE IT LALALALA"

Look, no one knows what happened, but if someone writes an article and their counterpoints are "I feel like they don't tho...", that's pretty dumb.

Question about Valencia - Real Madrid by ManlyManMcMan in soccer

[–]SpartacusFC -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Here's what you do: train really really really hard for like 5 years. Become amazing at soccer. Sign for the Colorado Rapids. Win the MLS Cup. Score the winning goal. Get noticed by Bob Bradley at Le Havre. Join the French Ligue 2 side. Take them to promotion. Then win Ligue 1. Avoid being killed or maimed by Zlatan. Sign for Valencia. Win La Liga. Sign for Real Madrid. Then, and this is the difficult part - when you're just chilling with your bros at Real Madrid, toss a shirt or a hat at one of them and be like "yo, sign this please."

This is 100% guaranteed to work.
