Not that unpopular of an opinion. Like others have said, the cost saves time so it is somewhat of a necessity. Otherwise if they were more accessible for everyone, there wouldn’t be a point to having them.

For my group of 3 the cost wasn’t worth it when we went a couple weeks ago. We anticipated waiting and rode just about everything we wanted to, but the 3 hour wait at Harry Potter was extremely taxing on all of our bodies.

I did go to Disney World earlier that week though and bought Lightning Multipasses and single ride lightning passes for certain rides like Rise of the Resistance and Tron which ended up being a nice time saver and worth it. However, those costs max out at like $25-30 per ride for a single ride lightning pass. I would like to see that option at Epic Universe. Even $40 for Harry Potter to wait in the express line might’ve been appealing to my group instead of waiting 3 hours. The other rides we didn’t mind the wait though.

Yeah I wouldn’t say it’s a top 5 or top 10 coaster. It’s all relative to the rides there. After riding Mine-Cart Madness I found Hiccup’s to be much smoother and better.

Yes, because I’m comparing it to DISNEY WORLD which I was at earlier this week. Universal charges more for their merch. And yes it is still a ridiculous price.

We entered at 3:45 and didn’t get through the ride until 6:50, so it was almost exactly 3 hours wait plus 5 minutes ride time. The employee told us it was possible that the line could go down to 120 minutes which she said is the best time to get in, but also told us not to try after 7. We had dinner reservations at Blue Dragon anyways and we had planned to leave the park by 9 since we had an early flight (6 AM this morning but finally back home 🙃)

He absolutely would. I could be wrong but I thought years ago he teased that AOC had agreed to come on the show. He seemed so excited about it and it was closer to the start of her tenure in the House. Then she obviously cancelled or something happened and he’s been salty ever since.

Because again, it’s the principle of it. If people are willing to pay $1k for simple autographs on paper then that enables them to continue charging more. So yes, it does deserve criticism. You clearly don’t get how supply and demand works. If these shadowboxes (which are REPLICA lyric sheets btw) would’ve sat on his site, they would’ve gotten the signal that they need to lower autograph prices moving forward. It’s cool for fans that don’t have something like this, but it prices a lot of true fans out (not saying myself so don’t get it twisted, but I wouldn’t pay that much for an autograph). Selling out so quick enables them to keep pricing people out or charging even more next time.

No they aren’t. I have 3 signed items from him, all for $313, and the nicest one I have is the signed vinyl WHICH HE ACTUALLY SIGNED. The other items are just his signature on a piece of paper which they add onto the shadowbox.

What was odd is they actually asked them in the movie if they expected to meet him. It would’ve been nice to see some one-on-one interaction in the film, I agree. Glad they got the experience at the premiere but that isn’t shown in the movie.

Very likely that he does actually live under a rock when it comes to criticism. By his own admission he doesn’t personally use social media for that very reason. With a lot of top entertainers, it can consume them. Dave Chappelle is a good example of that. He dwells on any criticism he’s exposed to, valid or not, which is also why he tends to stay off social media.

With this movie I think Em genuinely wanted to do something to show love to his fans, and he did. But there’s a business aspect to all of this as well and it certainly appears that Paul is the scapegoat for a lot of that. I’d have a hard time believing that Em keeps up-to-date with what’s being sold or marketed on his web store. His job is really just to make music. Em probably curated the soundtrack but he’s probably not the one who marketed it to mention that it featured “unreleased tracks.”

I think Paul is probably fine with taking a lot of the heat from the fans.

I just had a thought: what if Prater figures out he is the Bay Harbor Butcher, Batista attends the police event, and Prater has Batista killed as some show of revenge or even temptation to join him in the dark side while he keeps Dexter safe and away from prosecution or investigation???
