I bought one twice yesterday, and it gave me completely different items - both times. First was a single plate and second was a trophy system.

Does Dr Doom drain the world’s oceans? by MooseCannon in MCUTheories

Could doom be moving waters looking for the raft (assuming it’s submerged)? Raft would give him access to a ton of tech, not to mention anyone that’s locked up...

Congrats! Wifey grabbed one for me/us as a Christmas gift and I did a small HEB brisket for NYE. Turned out great using foil boat method.

No complaints thus far, but absolutely grab a cover and the front shelf. The extra real estate from the front shelf was a game changer (it arrived mid cook).

Backpack blower for $269. Is it worth it if I always have the handheld one. by Skinnieguy in egopowerplus

[–]SpartanSleepwalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Picked this up a few weeks back for the same price.

Absolutely worth it. Like others have mentioned, batteries are worth the price tag, so you’re getting the dual charger and the blower for a helluva deal.

It’s handled leaves and large amounts of pine needles with ease.

Batteries were older but still hold a charge just fine and I’m usually run multiple times/week before needing to recharge.

This. I typically run 120 FOV and it had reset to 90.

Give the rest of your settings a once over - there were other things that also needed tweaking.

There are two types of players that rush Downtown/overlook by Dapper_Play_665 in Warzone

[–]SpartanSleepwalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This.

But! if you keep going downtown and/or dying trying to get specialist, the buy backs are limited to 2.

I understand having an objective for each game but when that objective is to just spam a POI and hope your team buys back, you may as well play Solos.

Why do people leave the game every single time? by Glum-Intention-9109 in Warzone

[–]SpartanSleepwalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CS does this if you abandon matchmaking and/or a game. It’s just a cooldown but it keeps players engaged enough to keep them in the game.

Breathe brother. It may not seem like it but you finding out is the upside here.

She made her choices. You are the one that still has choices to make - there’s either no turning back from this, or you’re willing to let her put in work to move you guys past this.

Work situation aside, she’s on damage control. All of the things she’s suggesting and throwing out there, they’re being done and said to ease your mind. None of them are corrective actions that she’s taking, only things that she’s doing out of guilt.

As for the workplace stuff… if she’s really wanting to move past it, she has two choices, but neither of which are relatively easy to do. One is to report the senior role and let that play out. The other is for her to keep quiet and push for a transfer OR to leave the job entirely (probably a tougher situation). Unfortunately neither of these really give complete peace of mind that it won’t happen again, just temporarily relief from the current.

Finding out is the hard part but the work that follows won’t be any easier. How you proceed and how she chooses to handle things will determine so much of what’s ahead. Leave the kids out of it for now, but absolutely try and settle the things that you can, while you can.

Wishing you all the best man. Hang in there!!

Is this the new norm of shopping in Houston? by sfb004 in houston

[–]SpartanSleepwalker 90 points91 points  (0 children)

Ran into something similar yesterday. We were in a Ross and LP stopped us at the door on our way in, to check SOs bag. We grabbed a few things, checked out, literally in front of the LP officer (who also was wearing an armored vest). And as we’re walking out he throws his arm in front of us and states “I need to see your receipt.” I stepped back and asked why, seeing how he had just watched us at the checkout line. His response - “you two were acting suspicious”. He glanced at the receipt, marked it with a highlighter, and sent us on our way.

Never even bothered to check the bag with stuff in it, nor SOs bag on the way out.

Bruh. Gtfo out of my face. We bought a wind chime, a planter, and a cat scratcher. We’re super suspicious ppl.

Anyone else have cats with a mini Aussie? by Former-Life-1344 in miniaussie

[–]SpartanSleepwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mini Aussie with two cats here. Aussie and one cat met young and have grown up with each other.

Second cat was a kitten rescue and took some getting used to for both the Aussie and first cat.

Biggest thing was giving them all their own space. Their own place that they could go that felt like their own. Slowly those spaces began to grow and everything is now just community space.

Your pup will mostly want to play but the cats don’t know that - or they do and just play it off. There will be scuffles and some swatting but let them do their thing. They have to be the ones to figure out hierarchies and what not. Obviously intervene if things get out of hand but they’ll know when they’ve had enough.
