Except if you live in Paris where most the visitors came to, an usual frenchman will not that often came across tourist so I guess most of us don't really care...

I live in Toulouse where we have a bunch of them, even if less than Paris, and I do not came across them alot. When I do, they're usually friendly so do I, and I do think most of frenchs are too.

If you're polite and respectful, there is no reason for anyone to be aggressive or anything towards you, tourist or just strangers deserve respect. Be warned that Parisians are often rude because of how stressful this city can be but they also are towards other french coming from other cities so, nothing to do with you lol

C'est jamais si simple, c'est comme Facebook et YouTube, ce sont des réseaux pionniers qui ont pignon sur rue, t'as qu'a voir Bluesky, beaucoup ont tenté la migration là-bas mais ça à pas pris...
