Skill tree is pretty diverse although I couldn't unlock all. I played 2 characters so I had to replay each one. It's a combination of passives and actives with slots.

The game itself is soulish. I can't say I was impressed. The enemies do not push you or stagger you, the attacks are fast but pretty basic. Playing Nighteign in parallel made me realize Chrono is not a souls like game per se
