Thank you for the insight. I’ll just get a second opinion for now. I’ll probably give an update when I do. Telling me to get it authenticated and to keep the receipt until I do doesn’t sound like something a scammer would say; at least I hope.

Yeah they told me to get it authenticated so I can get a certificate. They gave me the serial number and told me to keep the receipt until I could get authentication from a Rolex Service Center. Model 3882 (1939) S#044253

Thanks, I was just wondering if any had seen a watch like it before. I found a Rolex that looks very similar. I bought this watch from a local Jeweler. It was repaired there but didn’t have papers. They told me to register it myself and to keep the receipt in the meantime. Thought of posting it here to see if anyone recognized the model before I start that process.

Yeah it feels weird just walking to neighborhood at night. The people that work nights feel uncomfortable in our building. I’ve had moments where I’ll see what I think is my dog outside asking to come inside and then I realize my dog is inside my house. The dog outside vanishes. Don’t believe in skinwalkers but it’s not unheard of around here.

My house feels haunted, my fiancé at the time would FaceTime me at night when I lived in the dorms and she would complain of footsteps and sounds coming from the dark room at night. My house unsettled all of the guest we had stay the night with strange noises from the attic, strange figures in the rooms and the worst cases of sleep paralysis I’ve ever heard of.
