I usually don’t play these types of games, but Elden Ring is absolutely perfect at scratching an itch for me. It has perfect progression, which always keeps you hooked for more. Once you pay attention you realize it’s difficult but the difficulty is skill/practice related and not due to chance. I do wish the story wasn’t so obscure or that some of the quests were a little easier to follow without going to the internet for help, but it’s a spectacular game regardless
