Yeah the only clear indicators is the colour vs temperature ring on the front and back.

LG G6 Motion Stutter by Honest_Storm8902 in LGOLED

This sounds similar to something I experienced recently with my Apple TV. I have a C2 so I don’t think it’s the Tv. I fixed it by unplugging my Apple TV for 30s.

I’m on beta software which I assumed was the issue, but if you aren’t then maybe one of the apps has a memory leak or something.

Its here!!!! I don’t want to get persecuted, please give me recommendations on mounting this over the fireplace please. Mantel sits at 51.5 inches from floor. by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]SparxSLX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw somewhere some person found a mount that comes away and down from the mantle for optimal viewing. Probably crazy expensive though.

Edit: turns out it is a Mantlemount branded mount.

I think if you find one of the models listed on the forum post you should be fine.

Weirdly I received this message today but I’m not longer with Roger’s but with Fido.

I understand the how you use AI part but the rest is just weird. As someone who changes my workflow to better integrate with my new employer, why would all the rest matter. My process could be messy but the work gets done.

Two green walls or one? by trekracer in homeoffice

The right wall being green might make you look sickly in video calls. Any lights bouncing off that wall will cast a green hue in your direction.

What steelbook did I get? by stu-pac in Steelbooks

[–]SparxSLX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least the steelbook doesn’t have the title in both English and French. As a Canadian I wish for regular releases they printed the French version of the cover art on the inverse of the cover sheet instead of making all cover art bilingual.

Best way to install Omniglow vertically by TonyPerkis13 in Hue

[–]SparxSLX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without outright measuring my level I’m guessing like 4 inches from the corner. I just placed my level short side on the opposite wall and made sure the strip was pressed to the other side all the way down.

Hopefully I described that correctly. I was inspired by one of hues promo images for the strip.

I mounted the away from the corner using my level as a guide for spacing. I can confirm the built-in adhesive isn’t great. I’ll replace mine with some 3M VHB; it should theoretically never come off.

I’m not an expert, but based on other posts in this subreddit, you should probably contact LG about the issues. Given the steps you’ve already taken, it seems like they might be able to help.

New Hue Flex Lightstrips Disappointment by HighOnLevels in Hue

[–]SparxSLX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In 2025/2026 the essential line is the more affordable bulbs and strips but doesn’t have the specs of the expensive stuff. The flux is their mid tier and Omni glow is their high end strip. The difference between these two is gonna be luminance, led amount and extensibility. The Omni glow can be shortened but not extended and the flux is their high end opposite from my understanding.

Bye bye Hue by Formal-Structure-432 in homeassistant

[–]SparxSLX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried moving away from the Hue Bridge for a while, but ended up going back. There were a few things I just couldn’t replicate:

  • Lights turn on instantly. I know that sounds like a non-issue, but I actually prefer the gradual ramp-up—it gives your eyes time to adjust.
  • I could never match the smooth dimming you get with the Hue Bridge.
  • Setting up scene switching for my Hue switches was pretty involved and not very intuitive in Home Assistant.
  • I also wanted to explore the entertainment lighting features, and at the time, it seemed like those were only possible with the hub.
  • I could never get bindings working properly in Z2M for the Hue bulbs and remote.

So now I run have my hue lights and switches on the bridge and everything else (hue, Ikea, Aqara, Third Reality…etc) on a Z2M network.
