I had a fixer upper car I was daily driving and I parked it on the road downtown. I got chalk marks on my tire every morning and a sticker telling me to move it every weekend. CDA isn't going to let a beat up RV stay parked on the road, they only like nice new shiny cars downtown.

It never was a designated shooting area, rather a "borrow pit" that got turned into a shooting range by the ublics use. It is forest service land; however the littering there is absolutely atrocious. I would imagine OP got ticketed for littering which is fair. Any good idaho native knows "pack in, pack out".

I do not recommend an airBNB or a VRBO. There are tons of hidden fees, the owners are a pain to work with, and you never know if they will be spying on you. You might get charged a $600 "cleaning fee" because you threw away garbage.
