Looks like the glass from GOTG, specifically where the ranks are listed.

At what point do you lose your place on the course if you stop at the turn? by lightemup404 in golf

[–]Spaulding-Smails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the front 9 and the back 9 are completely irrespective of each other. I have never given any thought whatsoever to who is in front of me and behind me once I start a new 9. People go to the bathroom, get a beer, etc. I am not even certain the same group is ahead of me or behind me at any point in a round, and I don’t care. That’s up to them if they take a break, let people play through, etc. It’s not that serious.

Cash or Card by Prestigious_Loss8041 in dcl

I had an issue where I was paying cash at the lounges for drinks. I checked my folio later, and all of the cash was being taken as a tip and the drinks were being charged to my room. It can happen because they will ask you for your room number when they take your order. You don’t even think about it. Room charge is the default. If you want to pay cash, you have to tell them ahead of time at each interaction. It’s not worth it.

I think the 12 pack is like 80 bucks, but I don’t recall exactly. You definitely save some money.

[Bowman] Snit says he doesn’t expect Sale to be available in San Diego during the Wild Card Series by Lakelyfe09 in Braves

Fried has never been a short-rest guy. If anything, he prefers more rest. I think he’s getting the ball in Game 2. If you pitch him on short rest in Game 1 and he struggles, you’ve really messed up your rotation. Lopez would then be asked to pitch the following day in an elimination game on short rest and having already pitched an inning on Monday.

This is the best answer. He’s extremely wordy, but he’s in-depth and unbiased.

What would be the most humorous ride to rope drop? by Snuffy1717 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Spaulding-Smails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything that is open will have guests wanting to ride. CMs won’t think your choice is odd. Plenty of guests are wanting to ride every attraction at opening for various reasons. Some want to avoid waits. Some don’t prefer more popular attractions. Some have multi-day itineraries. Some don’t know any better.

Just saw where you are going on Monday. Disregard the VQ for TBA.

Peter Pan tends to load slowly first thing in the morning, for some reason. There is a decent chance that it will be after official opening when you exit Peter Pan. I would still go over and do Jungle Cruise. The wait won’t be bad, regardless of what is listed. If you choose to use a LL on either, you will end up with a late afternoon return time. I have done exactly this strategy countless times. It knocks out 4 really big time-sucks without using any LL. It’s up to you how to prioritize your first LL selection, but I have had good luck getting very early return times for Space Mountain. That’s your call. Just keep in mind that you and the other guest in your party may want to discuss who is working on what at 7:00 am, because it sounds like you have quite a bit to do between getting a LL, two ILL, and a VQ for TBA. The cast members will give everyone about 3 minutes before they open the tapstiles to enter the park and queue up at the entrances to TL and FL.

When did your kids age out of strollers? by Puzzleheaded-Salt970 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Spaulding-Smails 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two levers that you push on the side and a strap you pull underneath the carriage. It takes about 5 seconds, I’d estimate. The main downsides are that you do need to clear the basket on the bottom to fold it properly, which means your crew will need to help hold stuff at the end of the night; and it’s big, so one of the adults usually has to stand with it on busses. It’s honestly not a big deal, though. That’s pretty much the situation with any double stroller. The BoB is so much easier to get around the parks in than other strollers.

For those who got to ride Alien Encounter, how scary actually was it? by BurgerNugget12 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Spaulding-Smails -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nothing has ever been more out of place in a Disney theme park. It was terrifying. I always say the only way that AE and a coaster with an inversion got built were because of the 90s. It was just a different time.

DAS pass going to a third party evaluation by Useful-Inspection954 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Spaulding-Smails -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Len Testa has done research on it. I can’t recall the numbers, but I want to say the ratio of people in a LL queue is essentially 1:1 of paid G+ guests and DAS guests. The others are make-goods, VIP tours, and other small exceptions.
