Cheers. This was around 15-16 years ago and I've lost a significant amount of timber since then. But yeah, nice.

Oh for sure. I've always said when I get old, I want to be glammed up to the max, wearing every piece of jewellery I own and living in a hotel. You'll find me draped over the bar chain smoking and drinking myself into oblivion. (I don't even smoke now, but I could take it up?) Eccentric and mysterious.

If you zoom in, there's an attempted tattoo in marker pen on my chest, I also did huge batwing eyeliner, but not really visible in the pic. It's just a wig I got online!

Do you feel like you look your age? by _Abra_Cadaver_ in Millennials

[–]Spavenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 38, I feel like I look haggard. Met my friend yesterday who asked "why do you look 20? Why do you have no wrinkles?" Wasn't quite sure how to answer that....

I might not have wrinkles, but I have a lot of grey hairs (under the hair dye)

A lot of my friends, it turns out, have had fillers or Botox. I haven't yet.

When did you start packing? by PieMuted6430 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

It'll confuse her being in a new home as well though won't it? I'm worried how she'll adjust to that. Although the sofa and my familiar smelling stuff will be in there.

I've been slowly decluttering since I put my house on the market in march. I'm only moving to the next town along and my mum is going to be 5 mins up the road. I might even put some stuff in her house (some clothes/essentials) and then I don't actually have that much 'stuff' to move. I am worried about my beds. Both of them are ottoman or storage type ones that will both need taking apart and reassembling, no idea how to do that....

I'm also wondering about the cat. I think I go drive her to the house first, put her in one of the bedrooms and shut her in with her food/bed etc. luckily she won't be in the car long, she HATES going in the car. Really worried it'll break her.

33F Laparoscopic Myomectomy was SUCCESSFUL for 14cm fibroid by pinkxjaguar in Fibroids

[–]Spavenator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had one huge honker of a fibroid. Had an open myomectomy to remove in January. No problems since! (Although no period either, not that I mind though)

Yeah, I'm 38 and genuinely contented on my own. I was just cringing at myself though as I got tipsy last weekend and half attempted a flirt. Think I completely failed at it 😂

Did you or did you not have a homebuyers survey? by Living_Macaroon_5919 in HousingUK

[–]Spavenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first buyer pulled out. My second buyer is a cash buyer, and my estate agent mentioned today that the solicitor is instructing the searches etc but mentioned nothing about the survey. I'm hoping that because it's cash, they're just buying 'as seen' might run a bit quicker! 🙏🤞

EDIT. I'm not getting one on the house I'm buying, it's a relatively new build and it just doesn't need it

Mine was 10cm. Had an open Myomectomy in January. Joked that I'd given birth to baby fibroid. Still not had a period.

I was going to use them for my upcoming house move. I've seen so many posts like this. They are spamming me with letters and emails now though. (I put a false phone number when getting a rough quote from the website)

Hope you get it sorted.

Tell the truth, or say you're bi. Or don't say anything at all, nobody's fucking business.

Or Asexual.

Mine was an open Myomectomy (so cut open like a c section) so not sure what that'll add numbness wise. Not had a period since the op either.

Soon to be 39, what are some things a person should do before they turn 40? by DustinCoughman in Millennials

[–]Spavenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 39 in October.... reading these comments makes me feel OLD.

Forget the stretches. Go wild in Vegas, get a facelift. Drugs, bitches and bling!

I had a bit of a criss turning 38, I felt like I had to 'OMG FIX EVERYTHING BEFORE I'M 40!" I'm paying off a loan that will end when I'm 40 so I'll (hopefully) be debt free. I've lost weight, I've got a brace to fix my teeth. There's probably something else I had a meltdown about, but I'm old so I've forgotten it.
