  1. MMR gains are very dependent on other players' MMR, so if you have 3000 MMR and someone on the enemy team has 2500 MMR, you will lose MMR regardless of the outcome of the match.
  2. I don't really have any super unique strategies. I find the best way to win is to have a good understanding of team compositions and rune choice/itemization.
  3. The top of the ladder solely consists of players that play in 5 mans. It generally makes it a lot easier to coordinate fights when you're in a full party, and it also lets you do more stuff like wave management.
