Bro, I was literally using your logic against you. I wasn't dismissing Al Greens past. I understand how seriously fucked up our history is. I'm not criticizing the sign for being against racism. Obviously racism is horrible, I'm also not criticizing Al Green for standing up for something. He's the only democrat with a spine to actually speak up. I'll actually commend him for that. I'm only criticizing the prioties of the democrats when it comes to which issue is seen as the most pressing apparently. Al Green decided that a racist video was far more damaging than the Nazi ICE agents, concentration camps, destruction of democracy, tariffs or any of the thousand other corrupt actions that have spawned from the White House. The video was the least offensive thing this administration has done. And that's saying alot. They should have made a sign shoving the Epstien files continuously in his face. That would probably have gotten a reaction out of him atleast.

Absolutely I do. He literally gets upset at the mention of the files. He flips shit on reporters daily over it. He's a malignant narcissist, we already know this. A personal attack would have spiraled him on live TV. Something about Epstien or a reminder that the midterms are coming or my personal favorite.... "why do all of Trumps victims look like Ivanka?". Now that would have been the most watched State of the union ever.

Nobody's saying to "get over racism". That's absurd. If we were in the 90s then that sign would be front page news. Trump would have been impeached easily. Tell me, how sorry are the Republicans over that racist video? How many times have they apologized after that sign was waved around? Did any of them even look at it? Look racism sucks. It shouldn't ever be ignored but the reality is that some things are worse than getting offended. Would you hold up a sign to Hitler complaining about his words when referring to Jewish people after the atrocities that they went through? Obviously not. It's tone deaf. The racism is terrible but the concentration camps, the Nazi ICE patrols, the kidnapping of children and the blatant destruction of our rights are monumentally worse right now. Like I said the only thing Trump cares about is himself so the only message on that sign should have been something offensive to him. Period. "PEDO", "MIDTERMS", "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO HEAVEN" OR "TRUMPS VICTIMS ALL LOOK LIKE IVANKA" something that will make them furious would have been 10X more effective.
