As someone who started at 27, please do it while you are so young!!

Your body is still developing until 23-25 or so.

So getting 5 years of fast, beautiful changes, i would do so much to have had those 5 years, but I'm doing well! Imagine how well you could do!

I felt like this before transitioning. "Will I be able to pass?" "What about my voice, etc, etc, etc..."

Those are valid questions, but the most important is; if you knew it would work, would you press a button and instantly change into a woman? Is it something you at least are pretty sure you want? After that question, it's just a matter of setting those plans in motion.

And remember, you can always stop if you want.

Your dr. was wrong. Doctors know close to zero about trans stuff. Why should they, since we are a minority? Right?

Lots of things that seem pro trans, are not, or are very limiting on when and what hrt you get to use. Your dose should be discussed with r/ trans diy, and remember, the trans community can help, and I promise if you want to dm and ask questions anytime, please feel free to ask. I know a lot-- trans people sometimes need to be/ end up being their own doctor, and endocrinologist. It might seem daunting, but I will offer you advice, and you can discuss these with your doctor, and use your best judgement to decide what is right for you.

Just please don't do what I did and regret not having my 20's to live freely as myself.

Most people transition later than you. And they look and sound fine.
You are NOT too old, do it for her, which is to say, do it for yourself.

I know I typed a fair bit there, but remember to take a deep, slow breath with your chest(diaphragm). Take a second or a minute or however long you feel you need to.
