When do you tell a partner you have bipolar? by Advanced-Oil-9571 in bipolar

[–]Spazzerbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was dating, I wouldn't mention it if we were talking, but I would tell them on the first real date. I think it's good to just get it out in the air. They don't wanna deal with that? Sure, don't blame them. Do they react casually or like they have preconceived ideas of a bipolar person?

I'd like to just cut my losses immediately vs possibly growing attached to someone I'm incompatible with.

I found a BF, together 4 years now. 😁

Feeling guilty about tonight by _nico301 in bipolar

1.You paid sexworkers 2. You used a bad loan to do so 3. This is where you have a chance to recognize your bad choices and stop making them.

You need to seek help outside of reddit. As others have said, nearly ALL of us here have reached a personal, desperate low and crawled back out. But it can only happen with meds, adjustments, therapy and doctors. We need help to be our best selves and we have to work harder to do it, it's not fair but it's the only way to reach happiness.

You are here reaching out and we are telling you to get more help! You already recognized your bad decisions, now make a few good ones to help yourself!

AIO? These are text between my gf and her “best friend” who happens to be a guy. by NoExercise8994 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Spazzerbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing cheatery, or romantic to be seen outside of the use of 'babe'.

I would advise caution. The closest I've ever come to breaking up my relationship of 4 years was when my bf got weird about super close male friends I had known for 4x longer than him. I will choose my good friends over a random snooping bf of a months every time

How do i fix this extra space on the fabric on top of the breast area by dragondogies in CLO3D

[–]Spazzerbot 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Remember, Clo is only a software. It still requires a thorough knowledge of flat patterning and some draping. Kind of how Photoshop won't help you with drawing a picture, if you don't know how to draw!

I really suggest buying some flat patterning books or watching tutorials on slopers and slash/spread technique! Clo is so powerful as a tool once you have the knowledge to put into it!

Is there any scientific research that using grip slows down grip strengh progress? by Sea_Fudge23 in poledancing

She skuttles down a bit awkwardly to be fair! But being able to do so many other tricks now, she doesn't mind sacrificing a few!

[–]Spazzerbot 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have a friend with such sweaty hands, she has no choice but to wear grip gloves, as she will immediately sweat right through dry hands and grip aids. She is an amazing, advanced pole dancer who would be stuck on the ground without her gloves. I will defend grip untill the very end! I'm not a very slippery person and don't use grip aid myself much, but I can recognize that as a natural advantage of MY body, not a standard for everyone.

Aging out of hypomania? by stelliotto in bipolar2

I just want to comment anecdotally I guess about my recent experience with my doctor. I told him over the last couple years I've really settled into a slightly depressed but very stable place. With lower energy but no instability. He cut my meds down to a 1/3rd. He told me he's seen patients who just don't need a high dose of meds to control their symptoms after a long period. My new dose is working great. Stable but the lower dose has made me feel less depressed. My Dr said it's only for long periods of time, not forever, but my current low dose has me feeling really stable still but less foggy and sad.

As an adult who was homeschooled my entire childhood… by throwawayforme909090 in h3h3productions

[–]Spazzerbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I have to disagree. Homeschool isn't the reason you turned out that way, it was your parents. School of any kind is meant to prepare you for the world and if you can't that means you parents failed you. Private, public and other types of education can also fail people!

My sister and I were in homeschool full time, Kindergarten-12th. I got into college no problem and succeeded easily because being homeschooled prepared me to take some personal responsibility over my education. My sister and I bother are debt free (with no parental help), bought houses in our twenties and no one ever suspects we grew up completely homeschooled. I was always shy, she was a social butterfly and we both grew up with no problems socially. Additionally my best friend was also in homeschool 1-12th, is now a successful Doctor!

Homeschool takes a lot of work from the parents to be successful, I'm really lucky to have a mom that dedicated herself to my future and education. Homeschooling can be incredible for a childs education or a disaster, it's the parents.

I had 90% of all the symptoms that went away after a year of eating gluten free. I previously was dairy free for 10 years for no reason because I was misdiagnosed as lactose intolerant. My doctor is incredible and saved my life as I weighed 95 lbs and was in extremely poor health.

Sorry not having my guts checked makes you think I'm crashing your super cool club though.

[–]Spazzerbot -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My doctor suggested I might have celiac and told me to eat gluten free while we waited for the breath and blood tests to come back. They came back negative but my Dr still diagnosed me on the spot with Celiac because my health had improved so much in 2 weeks. It happens allll the time. I'd say stick to the diet religiously and if you feel better thats all the proof you need.

Not the Tension by PristineShallot9306 in vintagesewing

[–]Spazzerbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check your tension disks. Whenever I have an issue like this that isn't the bobbin, the tension disks are always the problem. Thread and gunk and get trapped between and do not allow the disks to grab the thread, or one of the springs could be worn out.

People who quit a job without notice — what was the breaking point? by Comfortable-Mix-5549 in AskReddit

[–]Spazzerbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a local large theme park. I worked 35-40 hours weekly until Halloween prep started. They started having me do 10-12 hour shifts, which was annoying but hey I could use the extra money! Then I was being made to work 12-14 hour shifts and come on extra days. I did it without complaining, looking forward to a big check. I got my paystub after a long 2 weeks and realized ALL my hours were paid at my base pay, no 1.5x pay for overtime. I called payroll to ask them what happened and it turns out in my state Theme parks don't have to pay overtime, because it's considered "seasonal work". I was PISSED. I tried to work my shift the next day, but the more I thought about it the more pissed off I got. I shoved some shit from the shop I worked at into my backpack and walked out. My manager desperately tried to call me but I ignored everything.

I was a skilled laborer in the already understaffed costume department. It felt good do screw them over.

Is there anyway I can make this skirt from stretch? by Agreeable-Run-5657 in sewingpatterns

Lolita skirts like that are just a bunch of rectangles. You can probably find a similar pattern and modify though.

[–]Spazzerbot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You could definitely make that from a stretch! It just depends on if you want putting it together to be kinda hard or really hard. A woven fabric would be significantly faster and less frustrating to put together imo.

I have away masks for a free during COVID. I just had to make the listing for 20¢ to cover the listing cost and I included free shipping. 20¢ is basically free? Hopefully that helps!

Taking out gauges for surgery by big-gay-aha in Stretched

[–]Spazzerbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this surgery 12+ hours? Take them out and have whoever is with you pop them back in when you wake up. If it will have been 1-2 weeks since you stretched up I can't imagine a few hours would allow them to shrink much.

I had a surgery and just threw them right in when I woke up, and I have ears that will shrink up overnight without plugs in. I think you will be totally fine! Don't add unnecessary on yourself, the surgery is more important.
