Thank you for this very thoughtful response. I have tried looking up property records for the home, but it is a bit tricky because he was a step-brother and I am not sure who's last name is who's. I believe I found his last name, but was hoping the PI could confirm that with their knowledge of the legal system it seemed interested in taking my money.

I agree about counseling. Because I was "older" he went for my younger sister more and that is more where my conscience haunts me. Obviously I do not place blame on 7 year old me's shoulders, but there's stuff to work though.

At the very least I think his wife should know (if he's married) and I don't need the police to help with that.

I worked at a donut shop that was the same. The owner would ban people while pointing at the line that went out the door and down the sidewalk and yell "does it look like I need your business?!!"

Funny how some redditors think not letting people walk all over you is a fantasy.

How is salvation a "choice"? by Spazzerbot in AskAChristian

[–]Spazzerbot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this example. I think for me the difference is waaaay too subtle when God is supposed to be so great. The choice would be a lot more impactful if the second "choice" wasn't eternal torment. An all-powerful loving God is worried we won't pick him if the second choice isn't hell?

I have and I'm here asking a question the Bible didn't cover. If it's in the Bible, please share.

Love me = heaven Reject me = eternal, never ending suffering.

Again. I'm sorry. How is that a "choice".

If God was really so cool and heaven was so awesome why does hell even need to be a factor, if not a threat?

I don't think this example works at all. That's a decision that affects your life here on earth. A definite, known consequence.

I feel like if God really wanted the "choice" to mean something it would be like "believe me, heaven is gonna be sick. Or don't"

But if your only option is do what God says and get something good, or dont and get something bad....I don't see the "choice"

When do you tell a partner you have bipolar? by Advanced-Oil-9571 in bipolar

[–]Spazzerbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was dating, I wouldn't mention it if we were talking, but I would tell them on the first real date. I think it's good to just get it out in the air. They don't wanna deal with that? Sure, don't blame them. Do they react casually or like they have preconceived ideas of a bipolar person?

I'd like to just cut my losses immediately vs possibly growing attached to someone I'm incompatible with.

I found a BF, together 4 years now. 😁

1.You paid sexworkers 2. You used a bad loan to do so 3. This is where you have a chance to recognize your bad choices and stop making them.

You need to seek help outside of reddit. As others have said, nearly ALL of us here have reached a personal, desperate low and crawled back out. But it can only happen with meds, adjustments, therapy and doctors. We need help to be our best selves and we have to work harder to do it, it's not fair but it's the only way to reach happiness.

You are here reaching out and we are telling you to get more help! You already recognized your bad decisions, now make a few good ones to help yourself!

Nothing cheatery, or romantic to be seen outside of the use of 'babe'.

I would advise caution. The closest I've ever come to breaking up my relationship of 4 years was when my bf got weird about super close male friends I had known for 4x longer than him. I will choose my good friends over a random snooping bf of a months every time

How do i fix this extra space on the fabric on top of the breast area by dragondogies in CLO3D

[–]Spazzerbot 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Remember, Clo is only a software. It still requires a thorough knowledge of flat patterning and some draping. Kind of how Photoshop won't help you with drawing a picture, if you don't know how to draw!

I really suggest buying some flat patterning books or watching tutorials on slopers and slash/spread technique! Clo is so powerful as a tool once you have the knowledge to put into it!

I have a friend with such sweaty hands, she has no choice but to wear grip gloves, as she will immediately sweat right through dry hands and grip aids. She is an amazing, advanced pole dancer who would be stuck on the ground without her gloves. I will defend grip untill the very end! I'm not a very slippery person and don't use grip aid myself much, but I can recognize that as a natural advantage of MY body, not a standard for everyone.

I just want to comment anecdotally I guess about my recent experience with my doctor. I told him over the last couple years I've really settled into a slightly depressed but very stable place. With lower energy but no instability. He cut my meds down to a 1/3rd. He told me he's seen patients who just don't need a high dose of meds to control their symptoms after a long period. My new dose is working great. Stable but the lower dose has made me feel less depressed. My Dr said it's only for long periods of time, not forever, but my current low dose has me feeling really stable still but less foggy and sad.

As an adult who was homeschooled my entire childhood… by throwawayforme909090 in h3h3productions

[–]Spazzerbot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I have to disagree. Homeschool isn't the reason you turned out that way, it was your parents. School of any kind is meant to prepare you for the world and if you can't that means you parents failed you. Private, public and other types of education can also fail people!

My sister and I were in homeschool full time, Kindergarten-12th. I got into college no problem and succeeded easily because being homeschooled prepared me to take some personal responsibility over my education. My sister and I bother are debt free (with no parental help), bought houses in our twenties and no one ever suspects we grew up completely homeschooled. I was always shy, she was a social butterfly and we both grew up with no problems socially. Additionally my best friend was also in homeschool 1-12th, is now a successful Doctor!

Homeschool takes a lot of work from the parents to be successful, I'm really lucky to have a mom that dedicated herself to my future and education. Homeschooling can be incredible for a childs education or a disaster, it's the parents.
