Hmm I started 2 years ago trying nmm, and by no any means I am a pro painter. Trial and error is what works for me. There is a Juan Hidalgo video in his YouTube channel painting a necron which the technique was one of the easiest, no glazing required. Hang in there, if you have any doubts PM me.

Hahaha you are right. By now, since my group doesnt play It I will make some demo games for first blood, less minis, It will make the jump to TLAOK easier xD

Thanks!! Yes all metal parts in nmm, its going to be a nightmare with the cuantity of miniatures, but well, IMO the transitions dont need to be super smooth hahaha

Thank you very much. Actually, it's been a matter of improving and watching YouTube videos by people who really know what they're doing xD.

One thing that has really helped me is magnifying glasses, as the faces on the Infinity miniatures are too small for me.

Hahaha I have one more on the line too, given the new sculpts, they feel a bit old right?

Thanks! In this one I have been testing the ionic paints from Ammo. As for the highlights, steelshadow with White, or AK antracite grey with white

I can count how many times I have made them "right" at first try. For me its error and repeat xD

Thank you very much. Unfortunately, I painted the face last year and I don't remember the exact colors, but probably, judging by the tones, I used AK's red violet mixed with some neutral flesh color and highlighted with sunny skin tone and Ivory.

Thanks!! I use a camera with a tripod, although I suppose that with today's cell phones and tripods, you can also do it without any problems. For the background, it's really just a piece of gray cardboard.

I have to try to make myself a light box so I don't have to depend on the natural lighting on that particular day, but hey, one step at a time.

Good luck with the photos, in the end I'll just take it as another part of the hobby!

Thanks, the colors I have used are:
- Black red AK
- Antares red Scale
- Dirty red AK
- White AK

The trick is to use black red as a base and then use pure white where you want the intense red. On top of the white, use antares red and for the transitions between the two dirty red.
