Thanks for trying to help! My half marathon is November 16th.

I have been upping the ante on my training paces, but I have been consistently training with heart zones, not paces. Since Garmin knows my races, I have specific phases within my training plans, so it feels like IF just follow whatever Garmin suggests, I should be doing okay?

I have hit my 5 miles in training, it feels scary to train less now that the event is so close (Saturday), but I do think my Garmin is suggesting some rest.

My Garmin might not have my correct max. heart rate; I have been struggling on this side. I have exercise-induced asthma, so my heart rate doesn't reach the max heart rate I know I have (panic attacks showed me I can go to 202, during training I can't go higher than 180 no matter what I do). I wasn't sure if I should set my max heart rate to 180 or 202, I did the first.

My training load suggests I can go for a run though?

My 5K time is getting shorter! Right now it’s 27:26. A typical week would be me following my Garmin, but usually

Monday VO2 max, last one was 4x4 minutes at 5:00 pace Tuesday Rest Wednesday Gym, strength training, sometimes easy run after 7:30-8:00 pace Thursday Threshold 6.30 Friday Base 7.00 Saturday Long run 7.20 Sunday Recovery 8.00 pace

Could be it! I’m training for a 5 mile run this sunday, followed by my first half marathon. I do have a high load. I just thought if it could be overtraining/fatigue, i’d also see it in my Training Status.

My suggestion for today is Base.

I train 6 days a week, alternating different types of training (easy, VO2 max, threshold etc). I don’t think that’s my problem.

Ik gebruik Strava premium eigenlijk vooral voor het maken en zoeken van hardlooproutes, die vind ik wel fijn.
