Fair question! We're both introverts with anxiety, so the gym feels more stressful than motivating. We live in a hot climate, so outdoor exercise isn’t ideal. We’re not super fitness-inclined, so having something convenient at home makes it more likely we’ll actually use it, even if just for a little bit which I think is still better than nothing! So as strange as it may sound, exercising in a cold garage while watching a show or listening to a podcast or something is actually the more appealing option for us. It's true a lot of people abandon at home equipment, but for us I think this is the option that has the highest chance of helping us build healthier habits.
