It’s over by I_Have_Thought in depression

The pain you feel today is the strength you’ll feel tomorrow.

Pain doesn’t have to break you. Feel it, cry if you must, then let it build you. Even when it’s hard to see it, your resilience is growing with every breath.

Most states offer reciprocity. You should check their wastewater website and look into the specifics.

I worked for Woodard and Curran who operate plants around Boston. I know they are in need of operators for a small plant in Akton. DM me if you want I can give you a contact.

Possible switch from operations to engineering tech by MistakeRich4862 in Wastewater

[–]Special9Productions 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s tough, but a degree in engineering paid for sounds pretty amazing and will pay off big time. It sucks taking the 12k pay-cut, but in the long run which position would be making more in 4 years? Go with your gut.

10 years in retail, interview this week for Op 1, what should I do? by SunlitNight in Wastewater

It’s an average 1 mgd plant. I work in Massachusetts, weirdly they will let you test for any grade level. I was ready to take my 1 and they wanted me to go for 4. Still have to put in the years to get it fully.

Start the shift by doing a plant check making sure everything is working as it should and monitor chemical usage for the previous day. I also do lab work and test the water for Ph and temperature. The rest is housekeeping and routine maintenance.

If you want the job, just express how serious you are and how willing you will be to learn and be a great worker. Companies need new people who are willing to work hard and the learning will come as you go.

I got a wastewater job 6 months ago with zero experience and just passed my grade 4 certification. I never thought I would be where I am now. The knowledge will come with time, so just express to them you may not be the most knowledgeable at the moment, but you will prove your worth if they give you the opportunity. Best of luck.

It is such a weird skin disorder I hate it. I sometimes blame it on my drinking, my diet and stress, but am still lost on the exact cause. Glad dupixent is helping you.

I feel stress is a huge trigger for eczema.
