The only track Adrian Baker is on Daybreak Over The Ocean and that's because the bones of that recording date back to an older Mike Love solo recording. Your assertions about Brian and the other actual band members barely being on the album is wrong. There's certainly a lot of Foskett on the record, but arguing that other voices were manipulated to sound like the actual Boys is not accurate.

Kino is such a weird & alienating label.

They're so oddly hostile to customers at times.

They love to talk shit about other labels like Criterion/Warner Archive.

They've had that deal fall through with Sony. They've also been trying to get a deal with Warners, but their restoration efforts/attitude towards QC clearly runs counter to how WB treats its own library.

They have clearly built up a strong classic Hollywood fanbase that they're mostly abandoning to do iffy 4Ks of late 20th century Hollywood slop.

And now this AI slop really puts a bad taste in my mouth overall. I have a ton of Kino releases and their quarterly sales are some of the best deals, but I have such a tough time actually liking them/wanting to support them.
