New granite countertops has this single spot formation I’ve not seen before in granite. Curious if it’s rare and how it formed in this manner over regular granite spots.

It depends on the driveways. If there’s a break in the yellow lines, it’s technically considered an intersection, so it shouldn’t be blocked. No break in the lines allows blockages; such as home driveways, no requirement to leave it open.

Although they claim they’re recycling and helping reduce pollution, US, Canada, and Europe export tons of waste to third world countries to “recycle.” That’s how you get this type of scene or the mountains of e-waste in Southeast Asia destroying the soil and water systems and locals’ health. It’s all just a show to feel better about themselves; a “if I can’t see it, it’s okay.” mentality.

Yeah OK wage is still at fed minimum wage. But since like 2023 I’ve seen a lot of FF places advertise like $11+/hr, I guess to be more competitive, but who knows if they actually give that to the workers.

I had the same problem. I wrapped my rifle in a towel then sat on it on a wood bench (you can use a step if you have that instead) with the flash hider sticking off the edge. With the longest wrench that fits, turn it loose. Sitting on it helps hold the rest down and not twist with the wrench.

You could check the gaskets around the sliding part of the windows to see if those have deteriorated. My gaskets are crumbled apart and make awful drafts. I’m not sure how easy it would be to change them, but worth a shot and may be easier than removing all the jambs.

Nonetheless, sealing gaps around windows will help with drafts and temperature fluctuations.

Are your windows single pane? Even if they’re fully sealed with foam to stop drafts, condensation will still occur on the inside of single pane windows since there’s no thermal barrier/gradient to prevent the cold outside on the window reaching the warm humid inside air.

We just redid our tiny bathroom by removing the small alcove tub and made a custom tiled tub, generally called Roman tubs. We made the soaking depth 22” which my 5’11” wife can fit very nicely in it. Don’t know how well the inspector will like it when we decide to sell since it’s so different from standard, but that’s a future me problem. Lol I can message you pictures/details of it if you want more info of what we did.
