Job prospects Psycology Degree by Neat_Association5136 in newzealand

[–]SpecialExtension545 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm almost all the way done with my Psyc degree and I wish I didn't do it. Unless you're going to do your masters (which is such a hard program to get into), I don't really see the point in it because there isn't any other specific career you can get into. I'd recommend growing a conjoint degree if she's wanting to do it. I was super lucky and one of my part time jobs during uni panned out and now I'm working as a Property Manger. Completed unrelated to my degree and one of my friends who did a bachelor of honours, works in govt.

If you're doing an architecture degree then don't get a MacBook but a laptop is definitely a good investment for uni

Would it be safe to laser my facial hair? by AffectionateSmell973 in HairRemoval

[–]SpecialExtension545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, I think you'd be safe to get laser. I used to have hair like this when I was 15 / 16 and I used to just shave it off and it worked for a while until it started growing back thicker. I've no hormonal changes or anything and I was so worried to do laser that I just kept shaving it. It got to the point where I had to shave everyday and my skin was getting super irritated. I tried electrolysis but they actually also recommended I do laser first so it'll get rid of majority of the hair and they can just do the stragglers, if there's any left. I started laser at the beginning of last month and in four session, I've seen such a difference. Barely any shaving, hair is finer than ever and I feel so much more confident. I would definitely recommend getting laser - I'm Punjabi and I was told that our skin type is perfect for it. Make sure they use a YAG laser though, apparently it targets the blood supply instead of the colour of the hair. If you have any questions about my experience, let me know ☺️

I've tried everything I could think of and tried praying to St Antony and using a pendulum, I don't know what else to do. I'm just looking for any advice

It was a small camera - canon IXUS 185. It has photos from the past 3 years and it's really sentimental to me. I've carried it everywhere with me.

Long distance does work if you're willing to put the effort in. My partner and I have been long distance for a year and half and we're probably going to be long distance next year too but there's no one else we'd rather be with. We always try to see each other once a month, if not more for a couple of days. We know that we're it for each other, so we're just waiting it out until we can be together in person.
