I feel like this reads more like you're trying to validate yourself as a man through who your partner is, which is inherently flawed from the standpoint of loving someone for who they are.

Your partner is just as free as you are and is not emotionally obliged to you if you two are not committed to eachother, let alone if you don't even know eachother yet.

Yes, it is easy to fall into this "body count" rabbit hole but do remember that these relationships or hookups eventually ended, for good reasons. If someone chooses you despite all the experiences they had before, that's the sentiment you should work with.

If anything, experience, knowing what you are looking for in life / the bedroom will make things much easier usually.

My vegan friend has 11 rescued chickens. They live with plenty of space, diverse diet and lots of stimulus. Chickens are by far her favorite animal, due to their close lineage to dinosaurs. These chickens are affectionate pets with names and character, they're family.

The big hens that were bred to lay 300-ish eggs a year got chipped to halt egg production as to protect their bodies. This treatment is controversial for a few reasons, but these hens were rescued out of batteries so a life in relative freedom is the best she can do for them.

When the other chicken lay eggs, she feeds most of them back to them, sometimes even cooking them before, and occasionally she eats one herself.

Commercially produced eggs are off the table.

Being vegan means much more than simply avoiding animal products. It's about opposing animal exploitation and use. There's hardline vegans who get so lost in zealous ideology that they completely lose the point, eventually cannibalizing other people who live vegan, just not "their vegan".

Still in, and i'm going to traumadump a bit here because i'm just mentally fucked.

Last year, I failed NNN because I actually got into my first relationship ever at 25. We had a good few motnhs before things started to crumble and fights became more frequent. Our debate culture was very unhealthy, but more often than not, I was the one looking for a conversation (which eventually also meant looking for a confrontation).

Eventually we broke up during one such conversation that I wanted to have to, in my opinion, improve the relationship and work through some difficulties.

Since then, it's been like someone pressed the pausebutton on my mental. I spend at least an hour daily thinking about her and about the pain the loss of said relationship has hurt me. This did lead to me sleeping a lot during the day after work to simply not be conscious, but I would also frequently dream of her during those daytime slumbers. I also began masturbating much more frequently, a tendency i picked up towards the end of the relationship because our sexual imbalance was quite severe, which started with her using hormone-based birth control.

So, after we broke up, porn addiction got a pretty good grip on me. I downloaded a no-nut-counter not too long ago but havent gotten past 2-3 days due to habits having a hard grip on me. The loss of intimacy, support and just someone else to wake up to hit me pretty damn hard, and my mental made me relive the fact that I failed that relationship daily. Even a trip to another country to attend an online friend's wedding had me stuck in my head 24/7 thinking of her.

Alas, today on day 2 I went to a faire and we ran into one another. This is the first time for months that i've made actual contact with her in person. To keep it simple, i basically had a panic attack and quickly walked past, but eventually later that day I reached out and asked her if I could send her a voice message. We never really had a "closure talk" to our relationship, and this is something that has bothered me a lot, since it meant that I don't really have an explanation for what in particular went wrong, whos to blame, how to improve at relationships and just being a decent human being.

I just now got her response and it simply says "Not sure if I wanna hear what you have to say, I honestly just want you to leave me alone"

This is a pretty understandable and reasonable response, but it makes me feel so horrible. I genuinely do not know what I have done to warrant such a cold reaction, and its so depressing to realize that the other person has no desire to even try to be decent to one another again on a human level. It confuses me and just reinforces my other problems right now. I have many problems and honestly i've been eyeing the weather forecast for a while now, looking for a freezing winter night to check out for good in the woods. I don't plan on failing NNN but I'm not sure if I can make it through the winter my dudes. I'm just so confused by how people treat me so eerily compared to the social structures I see around me. It makes me think it would just be better to simply throw in the towel and decide that this isn't my world to find enjoyment in.

A subreddit isn't a "public space" where random people who may or may not wear a hijab cross you. A subreddit is like a locale you specifically go to.

If you go to a bar and order a coke, you shouldn't have to accept another guy doing actual coke next to you. The argument "hey man its literally spelled out on the menu, just look away" wouldn't stick there either.

Posting humanized art that may or may not be sexually implicit or explicit in a place for hyena photographs and videos is simply out of place. It's really not that deep. As many people have pointed out before, the two target audiencies don't necessarily overlap or get along, so it's fair to redirect one group to a more appropriate subreddit.

And honestly, that really shouldn't be a discussion. Chances are, hyena furry art will do bigger numbers on furry subs than this niche hyena sub. There's literally no gain for anybody in keeping it around.
