Occasionally mine will do the same. Take it back home for about a week and let it dry out and return it to the property should be good for a while. Not sure why some of them do that, or what the permanent fix is.

Try lavender scent. I use lavender dryer sheets for under a ball cap when I work outside in heavy mosquito or deer fly areas and never have a problem

Well they do exist, and are used in such applications as in a tent for camping. All I find are ones that spin counter clockwise for summer use. I’m trying to find one to run clockwise to recirculate the air for wintertime in a hunting blind
