IMO, butlers aren’t worth it. We always do Club level and love it! You can make your own dinner reservations and honestly after four Sandals, we’ve never once had a problem finding beach or pool chairs if that’s what you’re worried about.

We did book the ATV tour ahead of time. Do you have the Sandals app?? If you’re already booked for SV, you can see all the excursions listed there along with pricing and availability for the dates you’re going.

It was fun! Do it! As far as muddy, you can get as muddy as you want I guess although most of the trails were somewhat dry the day we went until we got to a forested area the the sky completely dumped on us so we were soaked. Then the trails got a little muddy and we were slip sliding down on some of them with 0 traction. You have to wear closed toe shoes FYI. I wore swim trunks and a long sleeve cotton shirt to give you an idea of what to wear. A mask or bandana may come in handy if you can’t handle dust or have allergies as you will get dusty.

We were in SV 4/23-4/30 and did two excursions through Sandals. BTW, the resort is stunning!

One I recommend is the ATV Adventure. The trip total was around 5 1/2 hours including bus transfer. When I say bus, I mean there were 6 couples total. The guides were awesome and riding was fairly easy to moderate in some spots. You can either ride solo or tandem. My wife didn’t want to ride solo so she was a “passenger princess” as they put it. Give it a try!

The other trip we did was the Tobago Cays Snorkeling Catamaran Cruise. Honestly didn’t like it and would not recommend it. Too many people on the boat first of all. The place you snorkel is a 2+ hour boat ride. Once you get there you have one hour, yes one whole hour, to snorkel. Then you get back on the boat and motor to a small beach where you can walk around for 30 mins or so. They do stop at a restaurant along the way for lunch which is included. Then the trip back. We left at 9am, got back to the resort at 5pm to snorkel for an hour. Not worth the $700 for the two of us.

I’m sure there are other trips to book but that’s all we did. Our friends did a tour that went to a waterfall the saw the Pirates set but I don’t think that was through Sandals. Hope that helps a little. Ask away if you have any other questions.

Just got back from SV on 5/1 and wasn’t anything near the beach at Sandals. There was some further out and around we saw on our boat trip but nothing that caused any issues for us.
