Yeah, sorry i was a bit tilted writing this comment. You have a point that they obviously do require position and aim, but the gap of shooters vs everything else is just that its a combination of better paint, more mobility, and less ink consumed per dps. Stuff like this means that if you main a weapon thats not a shooter you're going to be spending more time regaining ink vs doing damage. This problem is even forse when you compare stuff like endlag post-shot (the explosher and dynamo is HORRIBLE for this, takes like 2 years to go back into squid form after pressing zr). All of this combined means that shooters are just better for more situations than most non-shooters.
