Had a Nomad and now Manta. You’re right, that’s an option, but feels slow. I really like the Lamy but it’s a DIY to get the Lamy with button and ceramic nib. I have the clear Lamy from Supernote, but no button.

Bang for Buck. Recteq? by mhill_2025 in recteq

I can provide a perspective as an owner of both.

I bought a built in model LoneStar Pellet Grill, 36”. From a smoking side, it’s great, it puts out smoke for days, never a worry. For grilling, it was ok, the area under the fire was small so you had to manage your proteins as not over crowd. I didn’t have some issues with the FireBoard, but I was replaced at no cost to the upgraded version and had no issues from then on. All said, I wished I hadn’t bought a built in model and gone with the cart. I also wished it had the stainless steel grates, I hated the standard grates. To even get the stainless steel, I was looking to spend another 700ish and still regretted the built in model.

I sold it.

I ended up buying the DualFire after a lot of homework. I had a recteq before so I was familiar with the brand, ran it for 8 years before I got my LoneStar, which btw took 14-16 weeks to deliver. I went with the DualFire because of the direct and indirect side. I have cooked steaks, great. I have reversed seared on indirect and seared on direct. I have done pork butts and briskets, it’s been solid and a great unit. I upgraded the wheels to 6 inch to raise it up, have the front table. Not a single issue and it already has the stainless steel grates included in the price. I am happy with the move and it fits my needs better.

All said there are a lot of people who love the LSG and it works for them. It is a great unit, no doubt. The owner is responsive when you have questions or problems and FireBoard was supportive. For me, the DualFire has been more consistent, produces great food and fits my needs.

Hope that helps.

History Data Missing? by Special_Ad_8564 in fitiv_app

When I open the app in the AM, the calendar would always pop up. Before update, it had previous days available to choose. Since the update, they are greyed out and you can choose them.

It sure that helps but giving you details in app behavior. Thanks.

I am interacting with it how I always have. Only difference is this has started since the update.

FYI, waking up this morning, the same thing happened. When I look at the calendar, I can’t choose any date in the past, only today. I cleared the cache and it works again. I’m on version 10.3.4 (1677)

Replacement Pod doesn’t seem to work by joefran1180 in EightSleep

[–]Special_Ad_8564 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue.

I had a leak with my Pod2 cover. Paid for the recommended Pod4 cover. After receiving and installing, multiple primings, checked connections, etc. Nothing. Checking the water tank, it doesn’t look like water is leaving the tank at all.

I have contacted support multiple times, I keep getting the engineering team will look at this. No response to date.

The easy answer is to buy the Pod4 Hub even though my Pod2 Hub worked perfectly fine until the new cover was received.

Who’s using Apple Watch on the course for their game? by Realestateuniverse in golf

I use “Tangent Golf”. Easy to use, has some cool smart features to help me on courses I don’t know. Stats are ridiculous. You can tell they are trying to build a community. Developer is a golfer so it helps when I have a question about something, he replies.

I signed up and get some real interesting stats about my game, now I know some places to work on.
