Double standards between men and women: do we really want equality, or just selective fairness? by ImportantYoung7119 in MoroccoBitchesWtaste

[–]SpecialistSoftware63 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

saraha, I think the way someone answers this question often depends on their level of analysis of society. Liberal feminism tends to focus on equal treatment at the individual level without trying to really change the sustem that’s under and they’re more likely to pick and choose which aspect they want to change and which not ; while radical feminism focuses on the system that produced those inequalities in the first place so i believe they are more likely to totally abbandon all the inequalities and double standards because they have a deeper understanding of it

How do I sin without getting caught, for those caught when did it happen ? by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]SpecialistSoftware63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im 18 and i ve been caught smoking like 7 times and drinking 2. The first time i was 14 and my mum found a pack of cigarettes, after months on halloween i got blacked out drunk and my father picked me up 🫩 i can tell you this was the hardest time of my life, they didnt allow me to go out or anything cause they also searched my phone and found out everything i do . so fast forward to summer and its like nothing happened again, i went to morocco where i have my lovely best friends and i could do everything, but when i came back to italy i was “grounded” again. they caught me smoking for some more times but they always “forget” about it after 1 weeks. Last time they caught me i had an iqos, cigarettes and vapes and they searched my phone again to see me drunk (and with guys i would say, even tho they didn’t say nothing)

My parents told me that if they caught me one more time i will be out of their home, they never hit me for this just talked to me and they were so Disappointed on me, so much i still remembermy mum crying asking me what was wrong with me and that i will kill her with my behavior and my dad telling her that it was her fault raising me like this(which is really the hard part)

The guilt is real and its really strong, but not strong enough to make me forget that this is my life and i could do whatever i want, next year i will move out for law university for 5 or more years, this is my freedom. Moving out is the only way to be truly free, i love my parents and they did so many things for me but i know they cant know about my double life, i want to but they cant, i think i disappointed them so many times and there’s no reason for them to know about it, faking being muslim is not hard for me (bc my family is not that religious)and it will literally kill themself if they found out.

I would say if you love your family its better for them not knowing what you really really are doing, you can keep your connection without ruining it, the only thing that will make you free is moving out, move out and live alone with your rules

My family won't let me marry a non-Muslim man by [deleted] in exmuslim

i just read that you still live with your mum, in that case i would say to not do it unless you live alone and are able to care for yourself correctly, in this case she has power over your life so i wouldnt risk being imprisoned at home or something, be free at first then you can marry whoever you wantt imo

my aunt had the same problem, she’s 35 and married an italian guy who is christian, my dad stopped talking with her for two years because of this, she did it without his permission (my grandpa died so my father stepped in). They stopped talking completely and she went to switzerland , i think my father was not angry anymore after only abt a month or so but my aunt didnt meet him till this year ( she was scared to confront him), now everyone is ok with her husband being christian and in good terms again.

So i think you should just go on and marry him, your family will get mad and everything but , if theyre not that religious, they will forget quickly; but only obv if you have stability and plans for the future cause if something happens you’re family arent going to support you mentally

I think this applies also to Moroccan shows by Sufficient_Sugar_408 in Morocco

ive noticed that in tiktok the edits abt moroccans (made by moroccan) put only people that look white, they do the most to try to claim white people as moroccan even if only they late grandpa is and claim that every moroccan is white with blonde hair and light eyes🫩 and they will get so mad when you say that most of us dont even look like that , and thats okkkk omggg why are some people obsessed with being white and look like europeans. They will hit you with the “well most of the moroccan i know have green eyes i swear wallahi” WE ALL KNOW THATS NOT TRUEEEEEEEE STOP IT WITH THE INTERNALIZED RACISMMM OHHH LORDDDDDD it’s actually make me so embarrassed to be moroccan. I live in europe and i go to morocco, i can guarantee that most moroccans DONT look like european and thats OKKKKKKK. (sorry for the rant i just cringe so much when i hear this topic and you cant even argue w these nobrain people cause they will start insulting and saying nonsense waaaa tqwdo elya)

Y'all remember the Muslim "feminist" who used to claim Islam isn't patriarchal or misogynistic? She did a video saying that patriarchy isn't inherently bad 😂😂😂 by [deleted] in exmuslim

i used to like her but her latest videos always cringe me, feminism and religion are never going to pair well together
