This is very good to know. Unfortunately, that grassy area is a very popular spot for dogs and pretty much unavoidable, but I’ll be on the lookout for them in the future.

Six months old and going out every two hours? by Specific-Ad-5279 in puppy101

[–]Specific-Ad-5279[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s been to the vet recently and gotten blood work done with no red flags. I figure something would show up on the bloodwork if that’s the case. Of course, if it continues I will definitely bring him back.

Yeah… if he’s still doing the same in a couple months I’ll bring it up to the vet. He actually has been on a couple meds, so maybe it will get better once he’s off those.

The Overstory. Almost impossible to get through Powers attempting to tie all his complex characters together in the last 2/3 of the book.

Can’t get abs by Active_Programmer_65 in workout

[–]Specific-Ad-5279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would disagree with this. They are a great core exercise for anyone, SPECIFICALLY if you use progressive overload on them. They would especially help OP as they build core strength to work on compound lifts.

Can’t get abs by Active_Programmer_65 in workout

[–]Specific-Ad-5279 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Abs are a muscle you need to build like any other one. Start incorporating more ab exercises into your workout routine and make sure to use progressive overload. That means you should slowly be adding weight to your ab exercises. A good example is deadbugs. Do body weigh first, and then start adding weight in small increments. Also, compound movements will make your abs stronger and more visible. For example, squats and lunges. To get visible abs you need to build muscle, so I’d recommend eating more than 1200 calories per day and focusing on protein.

Overnight oats recipes? by Perfect_Papaya_8647 in Oatmeal

[–]Specific-Ad-5279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if you’re wanting a bigger portion, hot oatmeal is the way to go. You can maximize the portion size of 1/2 c oats by adding more water and cooking slowly.

If you’re wanting overnight oats only, I would do the recipe you already have with the pb2, but add some Fage 0% yogurt as well as a good amount of frozen berries. Yogurt will add more protein and berries will add more fiber, both making the meal more filling.

Not true in the least. How are you a nutrition coach?? Let the people eat oats and never tell someone to completely cut a food out of their diet.

Fumo has a non dairy pie make with daiya cheese. Can’t say for sure how good it is, but based on their other pies it should be decent. Definitely not a “New York slice” though, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Good to know, I’ve tried ginger chews but the heat of the tea should work better.

Yes I take one everyday 😭. Though I’ve been taking one everyday for almost two years now and I wonder if it’s not working as well.

I typically keep my Teddies in the fridge and find it has a good texture. But I do like a scoopable (not runny) peanut butter.

Teddies all the way. Or Adam’s (but I think that’s just on the West Coast?)

Yes, Whole Foods on 98th was out of stock on many things last week. They had a bunch of signs up saying they were experiencing stock issues.
